Great item
Problem with delivery, but not their fault. It was the courier! Messaged the seller and they sent out a new bench without question. Easy to assemble. Solid and just what I need!

Shelving & bench
Very pleased with all the. VonHaus benches and shelving. Easy to slide together and very sturdy. I’ve bought two of these benches and used the 2nd one as extra shelves for a bench.

Not a work bench
This is more of a storage unit than a work bench. If you treat it as such then it's absolutely fine! Fairly simple to put together although I had to use pliers to adjust some of the tabs to get them to slide into the holes. The MDF boards are a bit on the thin side and will need sealed and painted/ varnished. Overall it's quite decent for the price but not strong enough for a work bench

Sturdy bench
I bought this as a work bench for model making. Not sure it would stand up to shed usage but it is sturdy and fits together without tools.

Robust Bench
Good quality and value for money. Very sturdy frame work and quite thick mdf surfaces. Will require application of a sealant to protect the mdf .

You get what you pay for but can be improved
A real pain to put together by yourself but the instructions do advise 2. Surprisingly sturdy when once constructed. MDF boards need sealing, I used MDF sealer & then finishing as required, in my case a bit of matt polyurethane floor varnish. With a bit of work a cheap bench made very useable.

Avoid - Not heavy duty as described!
This is cheap chinese made with 2 thin MDF boards that will soak up any moisture in a garage and disintegrate into mush in no time...it is poorly made as one of the gaps made to attach the support rods was broken. Lightweight and wobbly... It would be unsafe to use any heavy duty tools on this bench... It is definitely not worth £50, more like £20. Sorely disappointed in poor quality as thought brand Von Haus was decent, but obviously not!
