Philips 325126 9-watt PL-S TUV Germicidal with 2-Pin Base Light Bulb

Perfect for my in house filter system. Worked right away when installed and very easy, just plug it into the slot. I have been using these bulbs for many years. They last about two years, sometimes a little more.

Product came not working. Apparently there is a 50/50 chance you'll get a working UV light, according to reviews. Well we got a non-working light and to get it replaced is a nightmare! EDITING 7/17/26. There is a protection protocol on the pool filtering device. You cannot only plug it in, you must secure the cap so you don't accidentally get hurt. There is a hole that you can see through on the pool filter container that you can see when the UV light is on. OURS DOES work. It simply has a safety feature. 5 STARS

Good light, the fit was good and works well

Same quality brand bulb for my Electrolux Guardian Air Platinum for a reasonable price. If course, it fits and works as it should. Replace it yourself and save, it's simple. Time will tell how long it will last, but I expect it will last several years like the exact same bulb I replaced.

It's pretty simple, the bulb to my air guardian went out and the filter was long overdue to be changed. I did some online searching and found this little guy, bought it along with a new filter. Bulb works great, and as far as I can tell it was the exact one that came with the unit. Was priced accordingly too. I didn't know if I should give it 5 stars, but it could possibly be that, I mean, it's a bulb and it's working. What else do I need haha? So yea, working as described I assume.

I installed these lightbulbs in my air handler to improve the quality of my air by killing any bacteria. I highly recommend it. I’m on my second pair. The first lasted over six months. Easy to install and gets the job done.

I ordered two of these PL-S 9w bulbs as I believe they are standard Hozelock oem parts. At least Philips bulbs where fitted originally in both my UVC's when purchased some years ago. I have removed both units for the winter, cleaned them fitted the new bulbs to check they work and put them in the garage for winter storage. All seems good and will be refitted in the pond next spring. For Philips bulbs they where a very good price.

Ero alla ricerca di una soluzione per disinfettare le mie FFP2 e prolungare la loro durata. Le soluzioni che avevo trovato in rete non mi convincevano. Non mi convinceva l'idea di spruzzare dei disinfettanti sul tessuto della mascherina perché questo è delicatissimo e avrebbe significato rovinarla e farle perdere il suo potere filtrante, con le conseguenze che potete facilmente immaginare. E non mi convinceva nemmeno l'idea di disinfettare le mascherine tenendole per un paio d'ore dentro un contenitore chiuso ad impregnarsi dei vapori dell'alcol etilico perché non ero così convinto che i soli vapori avrebbero avuto davvero il potere di uccidere i virus e i batteri posti sulla sua superficie. Poi, un giorno, mi è capitato di parlare con un mio caro amico, un medico la cui moglie lavora al reparto Covid-19 dell'Ospedale di Parma, il quale mi ha parlato dei risultati di una ricerca scientifica secondo cui il miglior sistema per uccidere il virus è rappresentato dai raggi UV-C. Allora sono andato a vedere le soluzioni in vendita qui su Amazon per disinfettare cellulari, tettarelle, ecc. ma mi sono subito reso conto che gli unici prodotti disponibili erano tutte soluzioni a basso costo, bassa potenza, bassa qualità. Prodotti oggetto di speculazione che già dalle specifiche facevano venire il dubbio se si trattasse davvero di raggi UV-C o fossero piuttosto dei semplici led colorati di blu. Trattandosi di un tema delicato non ho voluto rischiare e farmi prendere in giro e non ho preso nulla, fino a quando mi sono imbattuto in questa lampada, che trovo davvero perfetta. Perché lo è? Perché è prodotta da Philips che qualche garanzia in più sul fatto che emetta davvero i raggi UV-C a me la da. E poi perché, al di là della credibilità che può avere il marchio, la sua efficacia è dimostrata dal fatto che, quando viene usata negli acquari o negli stagni, impedisce la proliferazione delle alghe e mantiene l'acqua più pulita. Stiamo inoltre parlando di un prodotto che costa pochissimo e che con i dovuti accorgimenti, può essere utilizzato per la sterilizzazione di molti prodotti di dimensioni diverse. La lampada va però usata con qualche accorgimento. Ad esempio come potete vedere in foto: - nel mio caso io ho creato una prolunga volante lunga 4 metri. Ad un capo della prolunga ho messo una spina da collegare alla presa a muro (220 volts) + un interruttore; all'altro capo ho invece messo un porta lampada tradizionale (attacco E27) - al portalampada tradizionale avvito questo adattatore: https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07NBQGPX7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 su cui è innestata questa lampada UVC della Philips. L'adattatore permette 2 cose: che si possa collegare la lampada (che ha un attacco G23) al porta lampada (che ha un attacco E27) e poi che si possa alimentare la lampada ai 220 volts (altrimenti, se collegata direttamente alla presa di corrente, la lampada esploderebbe). L'insieme va però utilizzato con molta attenzione: anzitutto perché i raggi UVC sono cancerogeni per la pelle e dannosissimi per gli occhi; e poi perché la lampada - che è fragile - ha al suo interno dei vapori di mercurio che se inalati potrebbero procurare dei danni permanenti al sistema nervoso centrale. Quindi non si deve assolutamente rompere. Se non mi credete cercate su Youtube qualcosa sull'argomento... Allora io la uso così: metto lampada e oggetti da sterilizzare dentro un contenitore chiuso (la luce non deve filtrare all'esterno. fate qualche prova al buio) e grazie alla lunghezza del cavo mi allontano al massimo. Premendo sull'interruttore (che non a caso è posto dall'altra parte del cavo, vicino la presa a muro) la tengo accesa per una ventina di minuti. Sicuramente esisteranno altre soluzioni più pratiche e raffinate come ad esempio i box che usano i barbieri per disinfettare forbici e rasoi ma io non ho avuto tempo e modo di trovare una soluzione in vendita convincente o ragionevolmente economica, e quindi mi limito ad usarla come ho già detto.

und unsere Fische fühlen sich im sauberen Teichwasser auch gleich wieder wohler. Der Austausch/Umstieg der alten UVC-Lampe nach einem Jahr erwies/bewies sich als voller Erfolg, den wir sehr zu schätzen wissen, denn es gibt nichts Schöneres als ein sauberes, klares Teichwasser was unsere Blicke/Sicht erfreut. Klasse Preis-Leistung, die es uns wert ist bei dieser Philips UV-C Lampe weiterhin zu bleiben, denn die Lieferung war zügig und unversehrt bei uns angekommen. 📌 Wir hinterlassen für die Leistung sichtlich erfreuliche ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hier, denn... wir finden klares Teichwasser spitze, wir sind zufrieden, jedoch sind Meinungen/Erfahrungen sehr verschieden, unsere zumindest haben wir fair und ehrlich für euch hier niedergeschrieben. und 🤔 vielleicht auch etwas in Dir geweckt, wie ein Teich klares Wasser wieder erhält 😉
