I have a 1998 series Jabsco - will this replace that pump unit? What is the diameter of the out to the bowl and the diameter of the freshwater intake.

I replaced an older version also. My boat was made in 2003. Should be a direct fit or upgrade. Check the manual or installation guide to be sure 100%.

Our marine toilet is a wilcox - crittendon (head-mate), the pump assembly is discontinued. would the jabsco unit work with it? thanks

My jabsco manual pump sometimes works easily and sometimes it takes a lot of pressure to pump and water seeps back in. does this come with duckbills?

I can't imagine the "duck bill", otherwise know as the joker valve (if I understand your description), behaving this way. There are three possibilities that come to mind. One, there is a closed valve or clog somewhere down the discharge line. Second, (and I think this is the most likely option? the lever that you flip to either fill or evacuate the bowl is not completely switched to the side that allows you to pump the bowl empty. Third, the lines have become so constrained due to calcium build up that a wad of toilet paper jams in the narrowed section of pipe and keeps you from pumping. Hope this helps. Good luck.
