The Gold Cup Sperry authentic original is definitely worth it over the regular model. The comfort and quality is far superior with much softer leather. Sperry’s fit snug at first but stretch over time as they break in and soften, so go at least a half size down. These shoes are built to last and are versatile. They can be worn in any season and be worn with a more casual style, preppy casual, or even dressed up. This color is a bit better for the spring and summer seasons but can easily be dressed up for the fall and winter seasons with the right color choices for the clothing.

It’s difficult ordering shoes online however these Sperry Gold Cups are absolutely the perfect fit. They are superior shoes that feel so comfortable on your feet. I have another pair of Sperry 2-eye regular topsiders in 9W that needed replacing. I thought l would get the same size but in the upgraded Gold Cup series. They came in and are of excellent quality but the nice, padded insole made them a bit snug, so l was going to return them and order a 9.5W. That is, until the 9.5 size was 75.00 more than the pair l originally ordered. So now this will be a straight return. Also, some other reviews mentioned it was an MW (medium wide) and not a true W (wide) and they are correct. But, l believe with the soft leather used in the Gold Cup series, they would've broken in just fine after a month of wearing. Not a big fan of Amazon pricing structures.

My husband loves this brand of boat shoe. In particular, he likes the look and feel of the Gold Cup Authentic original. The colors are what's he's used to. The fit perfect for his slightly wide feet.

I can’t comment on durability because I just received them. But I can tell you that I have never put on a pair of shoes that blew me away like these. They are beyond fantastic … the leather outer is soft and supple, and the interior feels like silk sheets. These feel like your best broken in shoes, right out of the box, and my feet have never been happier. I’m not being paid for saying this LOL, I’m just ridiculously happy with how these shoes feel on my feet. Bravo to the folks who make these gold cup Sperrys. Truly phenomenal shoes, with a softness that would make wearing them with socks, a felony hahaha.

Such a comfortable shoe, great price! Came with a slight defect with the sewing near the back, not a huge deal but when you're still spending close to $200 you generally assume more perfection than not. Again, no biggie I still love the shoe, soft and supple leather, super comfortable, don't sleep on them if you have been considering!

Top. Mit der Grösse hatte ich Glück, passt genau. Erster Eindruck super Qualität und sehr bequem. Alles weitere wird sich zeigen wenn ich die Schuhe länger getragen habe.
