Karate 9oz 100% Cotton White Karate Uniform Suit Gi

Bought one of these Gi on a return to martial arts after many years. I have had quiet a few Gi in a 40 year martial arts studying, and I have to say, for the price this is one of the best I have had. I went from beginers suits to very professional canvas ones from Japan. The size is perfect and the cut and stiching are second to none, it just looks and feels correct. Not a big fan of the elasticated waist on the bottoms, but that probably just my traditionalism coming out.

Good: cotton, washes well, no need to iron for day to day useBad: it's quite uncomfortable - sizing is pretty poor, height only, no width, and decidedly male fit although advertised as unisex. Jacket constantly pops open, slips up under the belt, flaps up. Trousers give me a builder's crack no matter how hard I try, and I can't get into wide stance without pinching the knees first.I spend more time rearranging the gi than repeating drills.

I chose this one as it look perfect for my daughter who started Aikido. This is a light fabric, it won't probably last forever but as long as it is usable for at least one year, I'm glad. I was not sure for the size, my daughter wears 146 and this 150 is a little too long but again, it is okay.

The Karate gi came a day earlier than expected. It was packaged up amazingly well. As soon as I put it on it fitted perfectly and looks great. I have used it for the last 2 sessions. Highly recommend this product.

I'm fuller in figure, and these are clearly designed for the more athletic practitioner. If, like me, you're at the 180cm mark but have a waistline that has expanded further than you'd prefer, then I'd recommend finding a gi that comes in a half-size (185cm). Other than that, this is a well made, comfortable gi that is fine for kata.

Superb quality. Nice heavy cotton which means its more likely to last longer and (hopefully) wash well. Really pleased - true to fit as well.

Nice, good quality and value gi, ideal spare for my usual middleweight one. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a spare, or just if you're only starting out in martial arts and wanting something of high quality without spending a large amount of money.

Good quality fabric but the suit is huge. My son is 144cm and the 150cm suit looks enormous on him (quite wide too). I’m not sending it back as he’ll eventually grow into it but unfortunately we can’t use it straight away.
