Game changer , what’s not to love ?
OMG- seriously this little gasket is freaking awesome. I love, love , love it!First off it needs no batteries no ink no charging and most important it’s non fricking digital!! Yeah!! It’s a sheer delight to operate a small gasket that works so great and is simple to use and does what it says it does- I have used the expensive digital dymos and to be very honest, I much prefer this manual retro one.First off, to find the larger set of caps on the digital dymo was near impossible and took me over an hour to work out( having no instructions)! And found by sheer luck, not easy to replicate in a hurry, plus it requires ink and to be charged up :( admittedly it prints them quick once you have typed up your label but I think this manual dymo is just as quick and what’s more the labels look a trillion times better and look more authentic than the printed type. There are a couple of things to note- the instructions are very basic inside the packaging label and gives no clue as it’s just pictures. But seriously with a bit sense it’s not that difficult, just select letter and punch! I had to work out with a practice run, never having used one before that if you don’t add a space at the end of your text before you snip the label off by using the scissor icon then it will cut the label off right at the end of the last letter. So, I add a space before cutting but that’s my preference ! The space selection are the bits on either side of the scissor icon. That’s it that’s the only downfall I could find. Also just maybe be careful when peeling the backing off as I bent some labels in haste which leaves a white crease mark but really it’s minor and was my fault rather than the device itself. Nothing to do with this gadget. Seriously- ditch the digital in this increasingly digital world and rely on this lovely gadget which will still keep going when all the computers have died and will help you get organised. Honestly, what’s not to love about it? Can’t think why, I never bought one before…Update: make sure when you cut label with scissor icon you press firmly and decisevly. I ensure I press trigger firmly when embossing the letter too. The hardest thing I found using this , is just remember where you are in spelling your word. If you get distracted you could easily forget the next letter you are to select. However it keeps the grey cells working unlike digital dummies we rely on so much now.:)

Can't beat it
This is my second label embosser, not because the first one failed or broke. Somehow the first got lost after I lent it out, I bought an identical looking slightly cheaper one to replace it after losing my mind scouring the house. The replacement was awful in comparison, for example when you cut the label it didn't create that little tab to make removing the backing easier, so I immediately returned it and bought another Dymo. It just.. works!I use it all the time. Yeah, I could get a digital label maker but I just love the look of these so much more. At work people's chargers go missing, so after labelling my own I ended up doing labels for the whole team. Labelling my sauces and mugs in the shared fridge and kitchen was a great idea too - no excuses for using up my stuff! I make homemade bits and bobs in jars and after telling myself I'd remember when they were made and even what they were and failing miserably, I label it all now. Apparently people use these for retro looking crafts (handmade cards and stuff) which is cool too. I have stuck a few on my laptop, phone case and helmet which always last really well.

Had to Google how to fix
Great product once I had got it working - it wouldn't print at first so I had a Google and the outer rings needed aligning so that the arrows matched.

Good cheap label maker
Construction is a little cheap but it's £8 and as such I'm fine taking a hit in build quality. Can be prone to jamming so I would recommend being somewhat gentle, other than that great for purpose, currently being used to label plugs.

Cheap tatt
We have only used this label maker a few times before it broke. The tape gets caught in the mechanism and while this is a pain, this can be fixed. The bigger issue now is the the stamp appears to have stopped working, so while the tape turns, the letters do not stamp leaving the label blank. We do not recommend. Spend your money on a better quality label maker as this one is cheap tatt.

Great for pantry labelling
After researching for pantry labelling/stickers (vinyl prints which would have been costly as I had a long list of pantry names I wanted), I decided to purchase the Dymo gadget to “type” my own labels. I’m glad I did & I am happy with the results. The item is easy to use & it sticks well to glass, & looks neat.I’ve given it 4 stars because I like the label outcome to look perfect. If they could get the spacing before the start of the first letter & the spacing after the end of the last letter to be the same length, it would have been great. To rectify, I have to add a “space” at the end of the last letter, and then trim with scissors so the word looks central. Nonetheless, I love the gadget.Haven’t yet had to replace the print label so can’t comment on that yet.

Her eve, ofise lazım
