Cardcaptor Sakura Omnibus, Book 4

I love this series. I love the characters and I love the story and I love the art style and everything! So when I saw that the whole series was being offered in omnibus format, in nothing less than my favorite color, I jumped to get these right away. I ordered all 4 at the same time a couple of weeks back, and got them in a timely manner, and I'm very happy with them and the color illustrations. However, I have one small complaint. The spine for my Omnibus #1, #2, and #4 are a certain design, but the spine for #3 is slightly different! This causes an awkward visual when these are put in my bookshelf. After a bit of research, I found out that Dark Horse changed their spine design between the printing of #3 and #4, and that #1 and #2 were updated once their second editions came out. #3, however, has apparently yet to be published with an updated matching spine design, because wherever I look, it has the old version, so I recommend waiting until the 2nd edition of #3 comes out before ordering the entire set, so you can have a nice matching set in your bookshelf :)

thanks for for the GREATEST packaging I've ever seen for ordering a book! It was warp very tightly with plastic n another board so it won't bend, and a nice fitted box too! Thanks! But the best part was the BEAUTIFUL Cover and colorful pages! I love love love CCS and I was so excited to finally get my hands on Vol 4!!! Thanks!!!! The quality and reprinted version is as perfect as it gets! Oh, and it came in 3 days right after it's available! WOW, talk about fast shipping!

Not formatted well for the kindle screen. At some point the choice was made to put a blank border around the pages causing the images to be smaller than they could have been. This made some of the smaller text hard to read and required zooming. A thing that was not needed at all in the first omnibus which used the full screen. Aside from that the images were nice and sharp. As for the story. This is one of the sweetest stories that I've ever read. Sakura grows so much during the series. Recommended to anyone.

For the longest time I'd wanted to buy all the of the CCS manga, so when the omnibuses came along it seemed like a good alternative to buying them individually. Good alternative? More like BEST DECISION EVER!! Between books there are several gorgeous full color pages. Worth every penny!

Minus one star for the spines not lining up with books 1 and 2. I am happy to finally be able to replace my old Tokyo pop copies with these since the old ones were turning yellow and the pages in the new version are bigger and better quality (both the printing job and the paper quality) I also love they added in colored pictures at the end of every volume.

This is actually Volume 4, as shown in the cover image, and not volume 3. That means that you can get all 4 volumes of the omnibus via Kindle, even though if you search, it looks like there are two different volume 3's.

Great ending to a great story i really love Card Captor Sakura was and still one of my favorite anime and manga i really enjoyed this book i finished it on the same day i got it!!!!! Thank you Amazon for your great packing and your great service

With Yue now getting his magic from her brother, Sakura feels bad about how she wasn't aware of what was truly happening but with Eriol's plans coming to a head she still has a task to do and must complete the transformation of the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards. Meanwhile Sakura has some more emotional troubles to deal with and must finally decide who it is that she loves the most. This fourth and final omnibus of the brilliant 'Cardcaptor Sakura' manga finishes the series with a further three volumes. The conclusion of the plot with Eriol is relatively nicely handled with some very interesting revelations about his past and his true intentions, while the final confrontation between him and Sakura was very good and is probably one of the best magical showdowns in the series. The series at this point also sees Sakura trying to deal with her feelings about the people who surround her and try to figure out who it is that she loves the most, in fact after the Eriol arc finishes, the entirety of the final third of the omnibus is taken up with Sakura trying to deal with her feelings. The omnibus has some very nice emotional moments throughout, as well as some nice humour (although not as much as some of the previous parts of the series) As with the previous omnibus editions, the larger layout of this omnibus is very nice and allows for a full appreciation of CLAMPs artwork. Also included in the volume are the usual full colour pages that also beautifully show off the artwork. 'Cardcaptor Sakura' is a brilliant series with interesting magic, a reasonable plot, great artwork and some very nice emotional and humours moments throughout. This final omnibus is easily worth a full five stars and the same could be said for the series as a whole.

This is an amazing series and I was not disappointed by anything. I almost cried during the sad scenes but it more than made up for it in happy scenes. Beautiful art, beautiful story, beautiful characters and very deep meanings. Thank you so much!!!

Awesome product. The page quality is good, print is good, binding is good. There are even coloured pages and artwork included at the end of each chapters. Plus you get three volumes in one book and at a great price. Every cardcaptor fan should own it. Highly recommended even if you are not a fan of the series.
