I have used a hot water bottle for years for pain relief but after burning myself on it (ouch) and another time having the bottle leak everywhere it was time to change. After a bit of research, I decided on this heating pad and I am so glad I did. It has six temperature settings and four timer settings so you have complete control over the level of heat and amount of time. It heats up really quickly and obviously, unlike a hot water bottle stays warm for as long as you want. I found even the lower settings to be good and the top setting is really warm. It has an auto shut off after two hours, so you needn’t worry if you have left it on or you fall asleep whilst using. I think it is a really good size as it is big enough to cover the area you need but not too cumbersome. You can use it on your stomach, back, neck - basically wherever you feel pain and heat will help. It comes with a strap so if you want to wrap it around you can. The fabric is soft and it’s a real bonus that you can wash it after removing the power cable. I have been using this now for eight months and wouldn’t want to be without it.

I liked it so much I, ….. lol ok I cant afford to buy the company but.. I came back for more!I did a fair bit of research and reading before I bought this. Must be careful with my pension, I was so fed up filling hot water bottles holding them in my sink and then risking scolding hands while filling them up, as we get older and frailer a bottle would be lovely to prewarm the bed but its so dangerous. My husband (aged 90) has Alzheimers so it's essential I can put something safe in his bed to prewarm as his senses are diminished.I finally found the solution, every morning when I make the bed I put this into place for prewarming at night. I turn it on when I start making the hot chocolate and if he is watching a movie I use the timer to when the movie is finished … as soon as he comes to bed, I turn it off and roll it up next to the bed. It's not in the way and I have put the cables so he can't trip over anything as I roll it up and place it beside bed and bedside cabinet, takes me 3 seconds. Happy husband happy home, in fact I was quite jealous of his warm bed so I came back for more, I have one myself now. So why did I pick this one? Well the reviews were quite good but also I was concerned about safety, I did not want a heated underblanket I wanted something lightweight easy to move about and handle, something that wouldnot burn me.. So temperature is adjustable perfect, the control is large and clear bright led light for an elderly arthritic hand. There is more!I can move it easily sit in a cold window in the morning enjoying the first rays of the sun and put this on my shoulders or on my tummy. It's so nice I am like a cat purring.. (darned cat is trying to sit on it too!)It comes with a solid UK fused plug, it’s mains wiring not 12 volt skinny cables and I have been using it happily. It's supposed to be washable, but I haven’t yet too new.It’s much more than a bedwarmer, I ride a motorcycle after a 300 mile spin I regularly get cramp in my leg, well guess what the heat settles it down really well, neck pain? Yep you got it I wrap it and sit and enjoy with the adjustable temperature it is ideal. The cable is long enough for me in fact not too long as I can see me packing it in my motorcycle panniers on the go.. so neckwarmer, bed warmer, legs, tummy… the mind boggles .. Stop! too much information!There is an elasticated belt with Velcro to hold it in place if you really needed that but imagine a small scarf that just sits and becomes warm and much lighter than the dog or cat that is try to get on your lap. Fluffy, warm , light.. get the picture? Ok there are lots of photos already but none with my happy user smile so I add these. This heated pad, is more like a comfy blanket so comfortable and inspiring. This is a genuine review of a bought item and I will happily endorse it. Thank you for reading this.

This has been an absolute lifesaver for pain I’ve been getting daily in my neck, shoulders and back due to sitting at a desk all day for work.It heats up quickly and provides quick pain relief. The material is comfortable and I place it against the skin (for my neck) or over a T-shirt.The pad is thin and flexible enough that it wraps around the back or the neck. The size is perfect for applying to one area at a time and also for taking on holiday.The strap is useful as it ensures the pad wraps around the lower back and stays close to the body, maximising heat transfer.It has a 1-6 heat scale and I generally use it on 4, or 5 if the pain is great or I don’t have time to use it for long. The timer auto-shut-off is a good safety feature.

Amazing product and ideal for back pain. So soft and comforting too. The controls are easy to use and the timer is really useful. Helped me through a week of bad pain and now feeling much better. Will be using it again and again. Brilliant.

Excellent product, very good heat and has helped in relieving the pain in my back. This product tells you what temperatures each setting should give you, although I haven't confirmed them (others were saying equivalent to 4 hot water bottles - what's that all about). The heat output quickly reaches a constant temperature and I have found that I only need to use level 4/5 heat setting to get really warm through two levels of clothing - maybe you start to cook on level 6? The outer fabric is really soft and luxuriant the rest of the pad and electrics are really well made. The controller is easy to use and read. I would highly recommend this quality pad.

Fantastic heat pad. Many heat settings and 4 different timers ensures you can choose how hot and for how long you want it. This automatically shuts off after a chosen time, which is convenient, safe and reassuring. It is super soft and very comfortable- it feels so good that my cat stole it! I've been using it for 7 months now, no issues at all. This is a reliable heat pad that I feel confident using in a daily basis.

I have an elderly cat who is forever on my knee looking for heat. It took 2 days to get him used to it. He's always suspicious of something new. In those 2 days I sat with the blanket on my knees to encourage him to lie on it and I felt the benefit of the heat on my joints. Being able to preset the heat and set a timer really helps. I work 12 hour shifts so I have a timer plug that I have set to come on early evening and when I come home Tyson is lying sprawled out like king Tyson happily purring. I am well impressed with the product and found it easy to work and maintain. I recommend this for any aged pet or even aging adult.
