1883 by Wolverine Men's Plainsman Winter Boot

Very simple, nice looking boots. Upper is unlined and collar is not padded. Tongue is just a strip of leather but there is a sturdy sole and comfy insole. Size is true, unlike many over-sized Wolverine work boots. Definitely not job site boots. Better suited to walking, working in office and motorcycle riding, which I didn't expect from Wolverines. Like the reasonable price for my utilitarian black leather boots.

I've been wearing these for work 6 days a week for the past 3 months. They took a couple weeks to break in, but they're comfortable all day. The leather upper is holding up great but the man made lower is wearing out. I condition them bi-weekly and I still don't see them making it more than another 4-6 months. Spend the extra $ and get the 1000 mile wolverines or another full leather boot. Great as a casual boot but not for working.

These boots fit great and felt great. But after two months they broke. Two of the metal shoe lace hooks on the ankle on the left foot broke leaving the boot non-wearable. I will have to replace them. I will not be buying these again.
