Everything you’ve ever thought of in a bare bow set up.
After months of research I finally ordered my black hunter recurve in a 50lb draw weight.When it arrived and I strung it up I though s***. This is going to be impossible to use, I jumped straight from an 18lb weight to 50lb and I know it’s the completely wrong thing to do but being self taught, what else could I do wrong? 😂 after a few days and 200 arrows later I finally began to sink into the bow. It is gorgeous, the finish is perfect and the limbs are beautiful. I love the maple core with bamboo laminate limbs and the black diamond wood riser is perfect, first time I put it in my hand and it felt like the bow I’d been waiting for. I used the hair shelf rug for a couple of days and it was just getting annoying because it wasn’t very adhesive so I looked up what people had suggested to use for a bare bow set up and the soft side of Velcro was the answer! And you can cut it to an even better fit!One reason why I also got this bow was because you cannot do anything to it apart from different shelf rugs and string silencers. Which makes you tune yourself to the bow instead of tuning a sight and weights etc to what you want. It is extremely light too. I haven’t used the string it came with as I didn’t like the all black set up. So when ordering it I contacted a guy on eBay who makes fastflight strings and normal Dacron strings in a variety of colours. I wanted a camo looking string so I asked him to make 2 60 inch bow strings, one FF and one normal. Both dark green and one with a brown twist and one with orange. They fit perfectly and and very, VERY good strings. I wax them with bees wax every 3 sessions to keep them in great condition. (life-outdoors31) is the guy you want if you need any bow strings at all!! Just message him for a different size!!After owning it for a few months now I can say it is an amazing bow for the money, every review you’ve seen about this bow is true, everyone praises it and everyone raves about it.If you’re a beginner I strongly recommend this bow if you want to get into barebow archery but obviously not at a 50lb draw weight 😂In terms of arrows, I shoot 32” arrows at 500 spine and they fly straight and true into the target. (Field.archery.sports on eBay for arrows! If your form is consistent. The bow shots very well.
the bow arrived within a week of ordering, I've not yet quite finished tuning it in with silencers etc. I've enjoyed shooting with it on my yard target range, and have been getting some nice grouping...a few wide shots which I'm putting down to my inconsistent form..I like the size of the bow compared to my long bow, it offers more options with regards to shooting positions that you can adopt.

Outstanding bow and service
It’s no secret this is an incredible bow. The price quality ratio is amazing. And I’m only writing this review to add that the service is even better! I had a problem with a spare limb and it was sorted immediately with total professionalism, courtesy and exceeding my expectations in its resolution. Highly recommended
