Very easy and short stories for adults and children.

Just got the book last week and I enjoy reading it to my kids. It is short and contain important events in the Bible and I can read it and pray with my kids in the evening even after I am tired from work.

This read aloud Bible stories book is great for kids of all ages! I have 3 kiddos and they all love listening to the stories and interacting. My favorite part is how there’s a question at the end to see if the child was paying attention. We use this book in our homeschool lessons and before bedtime. I couldn’t recommend it more to my fellow parents!

I first picked up this little book a Bible store outlet and it was so good that I've bought it for others. It's not snazzy and although there's pictures, none are in color and they're not spectacular BUT it's inexpensive and really good. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 only because it's more reasonably priced at 2$, the amt I've previously paid, which is half of what it's listed for here. It not only has pertinent stories that are succinct enough for the shortest of attention spans, but I even learned a few details while reading to my children that I hadn't gotten in 30+yrs of daily Bible reading!

Enjoying reading these stories to my Son before bed. Also like the questions that follow the story, to help with engagement. Well thought out book of stories from the bible for Littles.

Love love LOVE this book. Honestly it sat around on the shelf for a couple years, as my older kids never really got into it. But my 9 year old son decided on his own that he wanted me to read a page per night to him before bed. It has become one of my favorite daily routines and I really look forward to spending this time with him each night. We're almost done with the book now and it makes me sad because I don't want the tradition to end, but I thank God for giving me this opportunity. Have to look for another book like this I guess.Anyway, this book does a great job of walking through the Bible and hitting most of the high points. There is no editorializing, which is to say, the authors never attempt to overlay any specific interpretations or opinions - it's just stories from the bible, in language that kids can understand. My son is now 10 years old and he can grasp these stories well, yet they don't talk down to him. I think probably 8-12 years old is about the right age range. Each story is condensed to one page, and there are 2 or 3 questions in the footer to see if your kid was paying attention. It helps if you, the parent, are at least passingly familiar with these stories, as you can help paint a fuller picture. But if you're not, that's OK too, as you will certainly learn something! Highly recommended!
