I really wanted a leash with a small/light handle so that I can hook it on to the fanny pack I wear when I walk my 16 pound Pomeranian, so when I found this cute-looking one I decided to give it a try. I have now been using it for 3 months, and I gotta say--besides being small, light and cute (which is why it has 3 stars), it is not good leash, yet expensive. There are waayy better leashes for that price or even cheaper. I have 3 issues with it (which apply specifically to size small):First, the ribbon length barely gives my dog any space to do her business; 15 ft seems like an okay length, but 10 ft is just ridiculous. And I don't know why the case with most retractable leashes (including this one) is that the smaller the handle is the shorter the ribbon; the smaller handles are intended for small dogs, but they are the one's who need longer leashes--4 ft of it is already being used just to cover the space between you and your short/low dog....So they wont go much further with a 10 ft ribbon.Second, the "Reliable locking system" is terrible. There's no button--it's rather a sliding thingy that is not comfortable or reliable at all, especially if you have to quickly stop your dog from running out into the road; a button would work 10 times faster and is way easier to use. This is the first time I had a leash with this type of locking mechanism, and I hate it.Third, due to issues 1 and 2, it is overpriced. My $6 Target brand one is a lot better.

I was a little leery at first buying this because I had never heard of the brand and the price was so low, however it seems to be pretty nice. the locking mechanism works fine, and what I really like is the length. At 13 feet its just right for my small dog.

 Nice and compact works great for my toy poodle. It can take some getting used to using the retracting button but overall nice leash.

Overall, it’s a good leash. And it’s pink!! The only thing I dislike about it and why I’m giving it 4 stars is because after using it a few times it no longer fully retracts, there is about 6 inches of leash hanging out and won’t go back in no matter what I tried. Regardless, I’ll keep using it until it breaks or is no longer usable.

This is not what I thought I was going to receive. I thought it would be a typical style retractable leash and it is not. Next to impossible to bring the dog back to you by using the mechanism. I have already stopped using it and gone back to the traditional style.

This leash matches what is shown in the photo. It extends smoothly and seems secure. The clip is a little difficult to work. Seems to jam, then finally opens. Also the "break" is hard to use. At first it's hard to get the leash to shop extending, then it's hard to get the "break" to release.

Felt solid, tape sturdy, clip lite wt for tiny/small dog neck. Problem: the operating button is too far forward for thumb operation, I had to use two hands. I am a small woman. I don't know how a child could use this as a one hand operation, as advertised. Returned to find something I could use with one hand, unable to grow a longer thumb, LOL.

The tape of the leash is a very thin ribbon that tangles as it retracts. It makes it almost unusable. The leash extends and then doesn't retract. I do not recommend this product at all, and would give it zero stars if I could.
