The pin has a no grip retention backing. There is only one stick pin for retention. So with alot of movement it will flop around and the backing will easily slide off the stick pin. Was hoping to ise it on my bike vest but there isnt enough retention.

Oh I'm so disappointed in this pin! Usually HD pins are of good quality, and this pin is truly a beautiful pin, BUT you basically can't use it with only one clutch pin on a pin this size. I have many other HD that are smaller and have two pins. Also they use the stupid plastic clutch instead of the metal ones. But mainly having only one, this pin flops around, and is not able to be held at an angle how the #1 should be. I wanted to install this on my beret, but no go because the whole bottom just pulls away from the beret. This review is not against HD of Wisconsin they have prompt shipping, it's against whoever is the manufacturer of the pin. So depending upon what your plan is with the pin think twice before purchasing.
