‘Exists’: Best Bigfoot Movie Ever (along with ‘Abominable’ & ‘Legend of Boggy Creek’!
If you want a genuinely terrifying Sasquatch movie, ‘Exists’ is it! Tied with ‘Abominable’ as my all-time favorite. Things start slow with a bunch of 20. somethings driving on a rainy night to an old family cabin in the woods. They are goofing off while driving and hit an animal on the roadside. They think it’s a dog or fawn, but don’t find it. Spoiler! It could have been something else. When they reach the cabin, they hear distant cries, then, the action picks up. Way up! At first viewing, I thought I would be disappointed because the creature action begins with sounds, rock throwing and shapes behind trees. It turns out the beast is clearly shown in some seriously horrifically incredible action scenes. The bike chase is one of the first, and comes out of nowhere! The Bigfoot design and execution is amazing! The creature looks like a real semi-human primate and shows intelligence and a believable range of emotions (which will make sense when you watch the whole film). Best and most realistic Sasquatch ever! ‘Exists’ begins like so many other “monster in the woods” movies, one is deceived into knowing what to expect. The viewer then finds themself sucked into a much more realistic and terrifying experience than they bargained for. The story is great, acting is good, creature is outstanding and the ending is unexpected and satisfying. If you like a good horror movie, this is great. If you like ‘beast in the woods’ films, this will become your favorite!

***Creepy and Scary as Hell !!!
Best Big Foot Movie to Date! Running time approx. 1hr 30 min. 5.1 DTS HD Picture. I grew up in the 80s. So I have seen a lot of cheesy Big Foot movies over the years. But nothing good, until now. This movie rocked! This movie is only produced in Standard Digital DVD. No Blu-ray copies available yet. This is an upper-tier (B+) level independent movie. This movie is produced very well and has a mixture of (2) styles; standard film, and a kind of (Blair witch) mixture; meaning, (camcorders used by some of the movies characters). It's done in good taste, don't be (put-off) by the (Blaire Witch) thing, it's actually put together very well. This movie is reminiscent of (Boggy Creek). The movie is filled with hardcore horror, action, blood, and carnage. The acting and storyline is very good for a simple movie of this kind. The movie will creep you out and scare the hell out of you. It really will work on your mind. Big Foot is a mystery, but I do believe there (may) be fact and truth about the creature. This move will definitely make you think twice about being out in deep wooded areas or camping for that matter. This movie is by far the BEST Big Foot movie to date. It's not a documentary it's a movie and you will enjoy it. I thought I would not like this movie and would trade it away, nope! This one is a keeper guys, it's pretty damn good and I've seen it (3) times already with some friends and they loved it too. Buy it and enjoy it, this one is definitely a creeper movie and WILL make the hair on your back stand up and dry your mouth with fear. My hats off to the producers, a job well done! Thanks guys

One of the better bigfoot movies
So, this one turned out not to be quite as good as I'd hoped and expected from all the hype. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and thought it was a good movie, nit just a great one. The characters are great and very believable, the Bigfoot looks great, and the acting is really solid. There are some tense moments and some good scares. But it just seemed to be too much -- I think it would have been better if the story had cut out some of the bigfoot encounters/battles. Like in most slasher flicks, the characters fight back and think he's dead, but he comes back again, and again, and again. Also looked and felt way too polished for a "found film." But as far as bigfoot movies go, this one is really pretty good -- certainly head and shoulders above most of what's out there. And you get to see an awful lot of the monster, and he looks good, so that should satisfy those who complain about bigfoot movies that either they don't see enough of the monster or the monster looks silly. Its worth the time and money, for sure.

A great movie does "EXISTS"!!!
A certain magic and mystery stood out while I watched this film. I was transported to my childhood memories, a time were I would lose myself between fantasy and reality. My imagination was jarred and questioned; could this be a frightening reality? Looking back, I clearly remember walking home from school and anxiously awaiting to watch “In Search Of Bigfoot” hosted by Leonard Nimoy or “The Six Million Dollar Man” battling Bigfoot…OMG, these great shows always left me questioning, could Bigfoot Exist? This continued to be a recurrent thought for years to come. Two decades later, some friends and I attended the midnight premier of “The Blair Witch Project” directed by the extraordinary Eduardo Sanchez. This movie will forever be one of the scariest moments of my life. My wife and I drove over the speed limit home just to confirm on the Blair website that we had been fooled. Well played Sanchez, you got us. So 15 years later, I’m re-living my childhood watching the premier of “Exists” with my family…and guess what??? Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, or whatever you want to call the Beast…was mind-blowing. The actual Bigfoot was amazing, so realistic, the way she moved and went on a rampage scared the crap out of the kids and I!!! “Exists” has a great pace and builds its intensity as the movie develops. If you like the found footage genre you won’t be let down. The characters won’t win any Academy awards, but really, this isn’t suppose to be the Kevin Spacey in the House of Cards. He did it again! Sanchez gave us the perfect surprise twist, definitely a must watch for all Bigfoot fans! My only complaint, there was no need for it to be a Rated R movie. Perfect for the family and could of saved me a fight with the wife!

Better than Average
Of the more than 70 Bigfoot-ish movies that have been made since 2000, this one is better than most. Remember, Bigfoot type movies should only be compared to other Bigfoot movies because they all have a similar budget (almost non-existent). Based on this self defined scale, Exists gets a "B" grade. Pro's - lots of action once the activities get started. Lots of Bigfoot on camera (so many movies don't even have a Bigfoot in their "Bigfoot" movies). Decent actors (I've seen worse) Con's - I'm really tired of Found Footage/Docu-Movie/Shaky Cam style movies (I know, that budget thing again) Find a way people! Also, if your characters aren't very interesting, you'll find yourself rooting for the monster -- Everytime! Watching this movie I was reminded of that Geico commercial, "If you're in a horror movie you make bad decisions, it's what you do." Well, our cast makes those bad decisions one after another (I know, it's a drama thing). Sadly, there wasn't one character in the lot that I was sad to see die. Make interesting, relatable characters so we (the audience) can cheer them on and become part of the journey. Anyway, that's my take on it. Like I said I've seen worse and so on a curved scale it gets a "B". It's watchable. Could have been better just by tighten up the script and removing so much of the irrelevant "atmosphere" dialogue (I suspect a lot of folks don't care). That time could have been used to showcase many more creepy angle shots. Better luck next time with Exists 2.

Finally! A Really Good Bigfoot Movie.
If you like Bigfoot movies, and especially good ones (which are virtually impossible to find) then you will want to see this. I bought the digital version on Amazon Prime Video and loved it. Yes, it's a found footage film, but from the folks who popularized the genre and who did it so well with "Blair Witch". The production quality is excellent, the cast is good, and the creature is definitely well worth the price of admission. They did this right. Great moments of suspense and some real moments of pure terror. I'll never feel the same way while mountain biking again! Look, folks. Bigfoot movies generally disappoint me. Either the production quality is poor, or the cast is terrible, the story is a joke, or the creature is laughable, or any and all combinations of those things happen and I just shake my head in disbelief. With "Exists" you get all the good stuff and none of the bad. The story moves along at a good pace, the characters, while seemingly typical (kids in a remote cabin) are actually pretty darn good. Highly recommend.

Truly ASTONISHING.
This movie kicks off from the start and absolutely NEVER lets up. It grips you in and holds you tight all the way to the end with an intense, horrifying, terror filled first person experience. That is sure to leave you with a biting your nails on the edge of your seat experience. The acting is great, the plot is amazing and the twist leaves you with a shock & awe gut wrenching feeling that is sure to linger and haunt you. The character development is ASTONISHING in EVERY aspect of the movie. If you enjoy monster movies (or just scary movies in general) this is a MUST buy. It's worth every penny and the production team & actors deserve to be rewarded from this amazing piece of art. This honestly should have been in theatres. Bravo to everyone involved in this project. If you're still pondering about getting this movie I have one question for you, What are you waiting for?!
