It's more of a seed dispenser than grinder. Maybe 1 in 10 of the seeds get ground. I used a similar one in a restaurant and that worked well but this barely works at all and is expensive

This little plastic device works very well to give me relatively fine sesame in quick time, pretty similar to using a black pepper grinder. I was a bit concerned about how well this inexpensive plastic device work before I received it. As it is working so well, I may purchase another one for other small size seeds. Yes, I did have to adjust the 'adjustment screw' all the way down to get the fineness I want.

This is such a handy little item! I love to grind sesame seeds on many foods, and this makes it so easy. Just turn the little crank and lovely ground sesame seeds pour out. In case you are wondering why not just use the whole seeds? Flavor! When you grind the sesame seeds, it releases all of the flavor and aroma of the seeds. It’s easy to use and a great value for the money. If you love sprinkling sesame seeds on your foods, this little gem works great and is fun to use.
