This smash burger press is exactly what I was looking for. It has a great, heavy weight to it that allows you to get that perfect, ultra-thin smash for restaurant-quality burgers with amazing crispy edges. The flat edge design ensures even pressure every time. A huge plus is how easy it is to keep clean, the cast iron holds up incredibly well, and as long as you scrape it down, wipe it, and keep it properly oiled/seasoned after use, it stays in perfect condition and completely non-stick. It's a heavy-duty, reliable tool that is an absolute must-have for anyone who loves making burgers on a griddle or grill!

I bought this on prime day sale for my husband for Christmas (yes I’m a planner) and it seems great. Very durable and heavy which is what we will need for using this to make smash burgers. Feels like it will fit his hand well too. Probably better than mine.

Really happy with this burger press. The weight is perfect and makes it super easy to get a great smash on burgers without having to use a lot of force. The 6.5” size is also just right and works great for making evenly sized smash burgers on my griddle. The cast iron feels solid and durable, and it heats up nicely while cooking. For the quality you get, I think it’s offered at a really good price compared to other presses out there. Definitely a great addition if you enjoy making burgers at home.

I really like this Cuisinart press. Comfortable in the hand, a nice weight, good quality and with a wood handle. This press helps to make a thin, evenly smashed burger patty. This is a great tool. After reading a few of the reviews, some reported the cast iron was rusting. They obviously don’t have a clue about cast iron as it can have rust spots if not properly cared for. Just like a cast iron skillet, this press needs to be seasoned before using. Remove the wooden handle, coat the entire press with a high smoke point oil, place in a 350° oven for an hour and let it cool. Repeat another 2-3 times. The press will be properly seasoned and will not rust if properly, gently washed and dried after each use. Enjoy those burgers!

This is as described. The handle is tight, and it is easy to smash burgers. It's a little small for bacon, but you can move the press around. It's Cast Iron, so it's more complicated to clean, but it is pretty indestructible. First wash, I have some rust stains on the bottom. It's hard to season as it has a wooden handle so you cannot put it in the oven without removing the handle. I'm sure you could use a little oil and grill it, but something to consider between this and stainless steel. Knocked one star off because of the difficulty I've had cleaning and preserving the press. I recommend using with a little parchment paper to prevent sticking and prevent having to scrape any carbon/food bits off later. I also recommend pre-heating the press a little before smashing anything. A cold piece of cast iron is a big heat sink and will make it more difficult to get the burgers you're looking for.

Smash a burger. Watched your favorite team lose? Smash two burgers. The press is heavy, works perfectly, and creates those crispy edges that make fast-food burgers question their life choices. Five stars. My burgers have never been happier, and neither have I.

Solid cash iron burger press is awesome. It feels hefty in weight and very easy to use. Plus it looks like a typical kitchen tool so it is not offensive to have it display openly near my stove. I got the press during Amazon Prime Day deal, so it was a great deal for a kitchen tool that has many uses, like making panini or searing my steak or simply making smash burger. Overall a well made kitchen tool that is easy to use, not too big, and anyone can easily use the tool.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Smasher. Einfach kleine Hackbällchen zu je 125g formen, auf die Plancha legen und mit dem Smasher platt drücken. Funktioniert astrein und man kann die Dicke damit super regeln. Habe davor so einen Pattyformer benutzt, das war weitaus arbeitsintensiver und fummeliger als der Smasher jetzt und funktioniert vor allem auch für die großen Buns.
