Love this book so far! So easy to understand. I cannot wait to start my starter!

Would have liked more sourdough recipes.

I have wanted to start making sourdough bread for years and finally bought this book to get started. I followed the 5 day instructions and was shocked at how delicious our first loaf was (San Francisco Treat). I’ve been following the directions to feed my starter every week and we are thoroughly enjoying the recipes we’ve tried so far - English muffin's, coconut pancakes and pizza dough along with the San Francisco Treat I’ve made twice. I have made these incredible recipes without any special tools, using dishes we already had on hand.This book is everything I could have hoped for and then some. I highly recommend it!

This book is packed with information. I’m very excited about using it.

This is a wonderful book for any age group. My grandson who is 13 is on day one of making sourdough starter. The directions are easy to read and understand.The jar for the starter is rather large.This book has great sourdough recipes.He did need some direction but remained enthusiastic.The book is perfect for someone who’s just starting the journey of baking with sourdough..

Unclear directions/recipe for making the starter...

This is a very informative book. Written very well and easy to follow as well. I did give this (and some starter) as a gift to my neighbor! Sounds like she is loving it so far!
