Slimming, gut sucking in and no giggling allowed.
Like Spanx, not what I was looking for. Too constrictive. If you want something comfortable for chafing check out Undersummers Lace Shortlette Rash Guard Panty Shorts. If you need slimming then these are more of the style you want. They are long, to the knee, so you can't wear them with a short dress.

if you don't want to struggle order larger
I ordered xxlrg as I use a wheelchair and I have a round belly and big butt. My clothing is 16 to 18...I ordered their 2x size for easy on and off but some control. so I said fit as expected because I knew I purposely ordered larger.
