TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive x 21 mm 6-Point Socket | SHD23121

Seems very well made. The finish looks nice, and it feels solid and durable in the hand. The 6-point design gives it a good fit on the fastener and makes it feel like a quality tool.I’ve been happy with the overall construction and appearance. It’s a simple tool, but you can tell it’s made with good quality in mind. It’s a nice addition to my toolbox and has worked well for what I’ve needed it for.

I needed a socket with thinner walls for a new set of wheels with narrow lug holes, and this is perfect. It gets in tight spaces where my current socket of the same size wouldn't work. I now have a usable socket in case I ever need to change a tire. I can't speak for how well it works as this is just for my spare tire kit; but it fits where it needs to fit and the socket feels very strong and well made so I have no doubt it will work just fine.

This is my fourth Tekton product in about a year and half. I got this deep socket because it is 6 point. Big box only offers 12 point junk.The quality of the steel and chrome is really good. They clean off nicely. The grip is good, it doesn't round the corners and fits the drive of my newest and oldest (60+ years) ratchets. Although I am sure they will do fine, don't use them on an impact. A breaker and cheater would be about as much torque as you'd want to give these. The do have good impact sets. If you do break it, send them a picture of the broken one and they'll send a new one.For $8-10 bucks and the convenience of Amazon delivery, can't beet these.

Never had a problem from Tekton tools, this socket is no different great quality for the money.

Tekton has always been a quality product for car work and this is no exception. I bought this for Fiat 500 drive axle nut since i couldnt find a thin wall 36mm. I dof have to take down a few thousanths as planned, but it worked without issues for 240 ftlbs.

I was a heavy collision tech my entire career until I retired. From looks and fit alone I would compare this to any of the brand name sockets like Snap-On, Mac, etc. To be fair, I decided not to use it as I should have bought an impact socket for my use since I will be using it on with my Ingersol 1/2" impact. But It fit perfectly on Ram shock bolt head I need it for as well as my 1/2" drive ratchet head.Didn't want to take a chance on busting it using my impact, so just ordered the Tekton 21mm impact socket that looks very beefy and also has great reviews. I will go ahead and just keep this one for any non-impact work I may need it for.
