Turnigy 20A Brushed ESC

Using these in my Underwater ROV, specifically the thrusters. I accidentally switched positive and negative, and ended up melting them. But was able to fix them. I gave them 5 stars because of the repairability and reliability.

ESCS for brushed model airplane motors are getting harder to find these days as everyone goes "brushless". The fact that Turnigy is still making these--or making them available is good news. I use mine with some Speed 400 class motors flying in a competition class that requires the use of brushed 6V Speed 400 motors. The Turnigy ESC has jumpers that allow you to set the low voltage cutoff for either LiPo or NiMH or NiCad batteries, and also to turn the prop brake on and off. You don't need a programming card, nor do you need to mess around trying to set those features with your radio. Low tech yes--but simple, and simple is good in this case.

I bought this for an rc truck i was making, These are made for planes and Quad copters.It had plenty of power, and the break function is awesome. If your building a Quad these would be perfect.NO REVERSE! other than that they where good.

This ESC presented with a good brand name and price, but does not appear to work. I soldered on the correct connectors for my three cell LipO battery , bound it to the JR 9503 Tx without incident and found no motor output. All other servo outputs respond correctly from the BEC to my Rx. I tested the brushed motor with a battery, it's fine. the ESC shows no output on a meter. Fail. I will ask for a refund.

It did what it was made for. unfortunately I needed reverse and its not supported on this ESC.

Comes with easy to use instructions. I used this for my Kyosho HOR motorcycle throttle. Jumpers are easy to change to have breaks or no breaks. Perfect alternative for a small motor esc. The size was perfect for the small space in the motorcycle. This is a brushed esc! I used it with the small motor that is in my 1/8 scale bike.
