After using it for the first time I don't know how I managed without it in the past. Other reviewers have complained about the short drill bit length but I do not find that an issue at all. After all, it is a pilot drill bit isn't it? Some reviewers complained that the bits were not the original Trend bits. Who cares. Mine looks and feel like a high precision tool. The only negative is that they're a bit expensive.

I thought it was a bit excessive getting these as I already had some small drill bits, but after watching a few YouTube videos thought I would invest. So glad I did. No longer have to try and mark with a pencil to centre holes on hinges. Makes the job so much quicker and more accurate

Good , good for the job only problem is one of the pilots as snapped and carnt seem to find a replacement as one side is machined flat but other than that happy and does what it says on the tin

I fit a lot of doors these are great perfect setting of screws in hinges just enough of a pilot hole to set screw leaves enough for the screw to secure itself

Fantastic bit of kit , well worth spending that little bit extra for trouble free use .

I have 15 heavy oak doors to fit and the middle size drill is perfect for the JigTech Pro hinges I am using.Occasionally needs a jiggle to clear dust but generally self-cleans really well!

Easy to use and well made. It is nice to be able to centralise the screws in hinges etc. and always have the screws in flush with the worksurface.

These either jam when using or fall apart! Cheap rubbish

Appena prese e utilizzate veramente poco. Si presenta ben fatte e sopratutto sembrano robuste, a differenza di altre possedute in precedenza molto meno robuste. Solo il tempo e l'utilizzo mi permetteranno di confermare o modificare la ia valutazione.

Ich habe die Bohrer für die Montage mehrerer Topfscharniere benutzt und dabei kam es zu keinen Problemen. Zuvor habe ich immer wieder gedacht, ob es wohl Sinn macht, in solch einen Bohrer zu investieren. Nachdem ich nun damit gearbeitet habe muss ich sagen, dass dadurch die Arbeit um einiges erleichtert wird. Die Scharniere lassen sich durch das zentrierte Anbohren wirklich präziser und einfacher montieren.Der Mechanismus bei den Zentrierbohrern funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Zentrierhülse ist sauber geführt und hakelt auch nicht beim Ansetzen des Bohrers. Die Verarbeitung ist für den Preis wirklich top! Anfangs habe ich noch mit den etwas günstigeren Exemplaren aus China geliebäugelt. Allerdings haben mich die unzähligen negativen Stimmen dann doch zweifeln lassen, ob ich damit am Ende zufrieden sein werde. Natürlich kann man in die andere Richtung auch noch mehr Geld für einen Scharnierbohrer ausgeben. Allerdings halte ich das für meine Zwecke für etwas übertrieben. Ich bin kein professioneller Schreiner, der am Tag vielleicht 20-50 Scharniere oder mehr montieren muss. Ob es bei Festool und Co einen Mehrwert im Vergleich zu den Scharnierbohrern von Trend gibt, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Aber für meine Zwecke sind die Bohrer absolut ausreichend und werden höchst wahrscheinlich noch sehr lange halten.

Gutes Material...die Bohrer machen echt ihren Dienst... Ich hätte mir aber bei einem Teil einen 2mm o. 2,5mm Bohrer gewünscht.
