Great product!
I just built a table in my trailer. These hinges were the perfect solution. There are NO problems with the locking mechanism as other have said. Great product for the price.

Locking Hinges / Versatility
These locking hinges have turned into one of those โwhy didnโt I buy these sooner?โ products for me.There are so many uses for this hardware, and Iโve already used them for both shelving and tables with great results. The hinges feel solid and heavy duty, and the 90-degree self-locking feature makes the legs and supports feel secure when in use, without any wobble. When youโre done, they fold away cleanly, which is perfect for projects where you need things to tuck out of the wayโlike fold-down shelves, temporary work tables, or RV and garage setups. Installation was straightforward, and having them in an 8-pack gives plenty of flexibility for multiple projects. If youโre building folding tables, workbenches, or space-saving shelves, these locking hinges are a sturdy, reliable option with a ton of practical uses.

Very sturdy
Terrified of of opening and closing it cause the clamp is really strong and it got the side of my finger when i was seeing how it worked, but thatโs my own fault. They are sturdy and well made for sure.

Nice quality, heavy duty , latches a little unintuitive
These are sturdy and made with a sufficiently thick quality metal. The I find the latches to be a little quirky to release and positively engage. A more positive spring mechanism would make these really shine. Works well overall.

Heavy duty, mounting screw hole access is available, but first open or close the hinge.
Heavy gauge steel, a bit stiff at first, but that will smoothen itself over time. Some reviewers were complaining that the top mounting holes are obstructed by the locking mechanism and springs. Don't listen to them, they clearly don't know much about DIY or mounting hardware in general. The holes are indeed obstructed when the hinge is in open position (duh!). All you have to do is to close it and the top two holes become fully exposed. So yes, this thing will take a thought or two to figure out the sequence of steps and what you mount first, second, third, etc...Just dry fit it all first, pay attention how far beyond the top of the hinge your leg will extend, then think through your steps in chronological order. It's a good hinge. The screws are merely OK (I'd replace them, with something heavier gauge), but they are serviceable. Pre-drill pilot holes into your wood too for splintering prevention. It's a good set of hinges and I'm looking forward to mounting folding legs on my murphy bed and mounting fake light lamps as a decoration to hide the leg itself. This is precisely what I was looking for.

Worked perfectly for what I needed them for
I used some of these brackets to build a soccer kick board for my daughter, and for that project they worked great. The fact that they can lock makes the perfect for this project, since I needed the supports to stay in place and not fold in on themselves even after being hit repeatedly by a soccer ball.
User
Well-made and not too expensive
These are well made and appear to be very strong and well-built. Don't know yet how they will work with 4X4 inch legs, but they should support the portable shooting bench I built that is quite heavy so it can be very stable on the range.

Poor instructions
I installed using the screws provided, but when I tried to fold the leg, it ripped the two screws closest to the fulcrum point out of the table top and bent the hinge where the other two screws were screwed into the table top. Yes, I did unlock the hinge before I tried to fold the leg. These hinges are just too stiff.OK, I finally figured this out. In their last picture, they have an arrow with the words "Press to fold". The problem is the arrow is pointing in the wrong direction. If you press in the opposite direction, it works.I also had a problem with the provided screws: the head popped off one of the screws as I drove it into particle board. I did drill a pilot hole before I attempted to screw it in, so I was disappointed in the the quality of the screws.

solid hinges
Great hinges, very sturdy. I used my own screws.

Meets expectations
Sturdy, well made, Iโve built a table with folding legs and I am very happy with the hinges and how the lock works - the operation is very smooth and quiet. The positioning of more than enough mounting holes is well thought out and installation was easy.Comes with mounting screws (not sure how many but looks like at least 20) that look like 1โ. Philips wood screws with mushroom heads.

Hinges OK, but . . .
. . . the screws are a worry. We bought 16 hinges in two lots of eight. Each hinge has nine holes for screws; neither lot had enough screws for all the holes. The screws in the second lot were slightly longer than those in the first, which for this job meant I was up for a 30-pack of shorter screws from my local hardware store. Not a big deal, but you'd hope for better consistency. The hinges themselves are fine, and the manufacturer's video is helpful. I found a can of spray lubricant handy; as the video points out, the hinges are tight.
