This book together with the other Cram for the Professional Engineer Electrical and Computer Power Exam Sample Test Volume 2, 3, 4 were the best review materials. I solved the sample problems three times before my actual exam. It was really helpful especially the qualitative questions.

The question/answer solution set for PE power exam is really meant to set you up for success while taking PE electrical power exam. I really liked the practice problems and it has given me great confidence in tacking some of the similar type of questions.

The (4) Cram books contain high quality problems for the POWER PE test. When you consider the cost of other practice tests it is clear that this is a great value. The problems are not too easy like many other resources, so they give a better feel for the difficulty of the exam.One thing to note is that there are probably ~20 or so identical problems across all (4) books, hopefully that will be updated in the future so that there are unique problems in every book.I highly recommend these problems for anyone who is studying for the POWER PE test.

This test is hands down the best practice test for the Power PE. I recommend this and the study guide in combination with other resources to pass the Power PE. This practice test might actually be harder than the actual test. However, if you can learn the concepts behind these practice problems and apply them under an eight hour time crunch you will be able to pass! The code concepts are great and might be key on your PE exam!

This definitely a taxing practice exam. It includes really odd questions, to include testing on definitions of trade names for tools or tests you either know or don't.The answers are okay, but you'll want to get outside materials to really understand solutions. The author includes remarks about certain answers being "nonsense" without explanation of why they are for those still learning.Take it you want to really stretch yourself, but don't make it your first or only practice exam.

One of the best books to prepare for the PE exam .I highly recommend this book for practice problems similar to NCEES sample and the actual PE exam.Do not hesitate to buy this book and the volume 2, 3 and 4 if you are preparing for PE Power exam!All the practice exam books have different problems!

This is a relatively cheap effort spearheaded by one person, and for that, I'm grateful. However, similarly to the study guide, you have to be able to know when the things you're seeing are incorrect/unusable. Mistakes include "ohms pu", incorrect solutions, and problem setups describe physically impossible things..I'd still recommend buying the book series, but they take a good bit of user understanding to navigate effectively.

Let me be clear - this book should be a supplement, and not a primary resource of studying. But if you need extra problems to practice on, the questions here are very good. I used this book for my second attempt at the Power PE exam and saw questions in this book that appeared on the exam the first time I took it. Use this book in conjunction with Flanagan's 'Cram' book.
