Powerful generator head!
It’s well designed and sealed. With 12 Volt AC you can get 8 Amp current. Don’t touch wires while is it even rotating with very low RPM, it will give you a bad shock. You will need pretty high shaft power and torque to get full power from this generator head. It comes with DC conversion device which you can directly convert 3-Phase AC to the single phase DC for the solar charger use or DC inverters as well. It be better if the manufacturing company provided a little brusher about this unit. In overall it is well manufactured and looks good.

Generates very little current. Saturates at 100mA per phase!
I really would love to know how some people got 8A out of this thing. It does generate quite a lot of voltage even at very low speed but only with no load. As soon as you put a resistive load on it, the voltage drops and when you do the math, that's very very little power. At first I tested with the diode rectifier provided with it. But then to make sure it wasn't the cause of the problem, I wired 3 x 10 ohm resistors directly between each phase (triangle) and looked at the voltage with an oscilloscope. I was turning the shaft at about 120rpm (2 turns per second, not that fast). The voltage was a beautiful sinusoid shape but only 1V peak! So : 3 x ( 0.7 x 1.0 )^2 / 10 = 0.15 WATT. That's pathetic. I'm an electrical engineer by training and I can't see what I am doing wrong with the way I am measuring or using this thing. Turning faster didn't make it generate any more power. It peaks at 0.15 WATT.I'm about to return it unless someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.EDIT : I was eventually able to get 10W from this thing but at 50 volts. What I think is that this device cannot be used without a dedicated regulator (not the provided diode rectifier). As soon as the current goes above 100mA, the magnetic flux saturates. So this units would be great to generate high voltage at low rpm (120) but do not buy it if you do not have an electronic dc-dc converter. Only other application I can’t think of is to power an electric fence.

What to do with 3 wires, How or where do they go?
The product is great, my experience with the seller is great. The only problem is, there is no instruction sheet, no wiring diagram nothing, so how do this go, any kind of way or like what electrical item, three wires go to what?

too much cogging (for my project)
and, the shaft is permanently keyed.

Wiring info
For people who has bought this and not sure how it works. Its output is ac voltage. The bridge rectifier is the little square that comes with it. The 3 wires connect to it. The the other side has a place for 2 wires. When it spins it produces ac voltage that goes through the Bridge rectifier then converts it to dc voltage. Look up online Bridge rectifier wiring diagram and itll show which is hot neutral and ground. I haven't purchased one yet but planning on it soon. Just wanted to give some advice for ones who has purchased it and not sure how to use it. Thanks.
