The sheer quality of the two tracks Somewhere Inside and Power Of You , successively featuring the vocals of Julie Thompson and Christian Burns, had many fans of high-quality vocal trance looking out for a full Allure album release. And now it is finally here. The new album, entitled Kiss From The Past , is an absolutely superb, current and state of the art trance release with a sophisticated balance between vocal and instrumental tracks. The vocal productions feature collaborations with JES on Show Me The Way (being first single), Christian Burns on On The Wire , Emma Hewitt on Stay Forever and No Goodbyes , Kate Miles on My Everything and many more. Fans will also be pleased to hear the clubby Mariestad , which features the Swedish top producer Henrik B. Of course there are the big and luscious floor fillers like September Sun , Guilty Pleasures and the title track Kiss From The Past .

As time goes by
As with many of you, I haven't been thrilled with Tiesto's gradual departure from trance towards a more electo house sound. And his return to the name "Allure" hasn't really brought back the revival of trance I was exactly hoping for. However, "Kiss from the Past" has still really grown on me. The track called, "Show me the Way" (featuring the always amazing JES) might be the one that immediately throws off the majority of listeners with it's high electo loop club sound. And although I've even grown to enjoy that track as well, really the rest of the album is what shines for me. A perfect mixture of tracks that flow very nicely over the course of the entire album. (note: This is a studio album. The tracks are not mixed together) With personal favorites of mine being, On the Wire, Mariestad, I'm Home, and finally the very beautiful slower track simply entitled "Peace".Trance enthusiasts might still want to be wary on this purchase, but general electronic fans should be able to find the album thoroughly enjoyable. This may be the closest thing to trance we hear from Tiesto anytime soon.

LAZARUS!!
The wound still open but healing... Tiesto this is your time for your coming back to the star where your art belongs... I always though of you, your music and your logo as Jonathan Livingston Seagull: "You will begin to touch heaven, Jonathan, in the moment that you touch perfect speed. And that isn't flying a thousand miles an hour, or a million, or flying at the speed of light. Because any number is a limit, and perfection doesn't have limits. Perfect speed, my son, is being there.""To fly as fast as thought, to anywhere that is," he said,"you must begin by knowing that you have already arrived..."Each of us is in truth an idea of the Great Gull, an unlimited idea of freedom,"Fly Tiesto! Fly!

He has lost it
I always loved Tiesto, but he's lost his touch because his music used to be art. This cd is not mixed, which is very disappointing. It has a lot of filler, and maybe 5 songs are really good, but that's it.TIESTO YOU NEED TO DO BETTER.... Armin is the King of Trance.

Welcome back Tiesto
I have to say that after being an avid Tiesto fan in the early 2000s, I stopped listening to his music, especially, elements, Kaleidoscope, Club Life etc... I just wasn't really interested in more Guetta commercial stuff.Yes it is unfortunate the album isn't mixed, but if you liked In my Memory or Just Be, you should really listen to this one. It is very very very good!!

Ok, if a little disappointing
This album is ok but I expected a mature dance sound similar to the Allure tracks on In Search of Sunrise 6 and 7, but it's basically like a Tiësto album before he went mainstraim. The vocals are mostly on the pop side of trance while the instrumentals aren't particularly memorable. It was nice to get another Tiësto album though and it really isn't a bad listen, I just loved the two Allure ISOS tracks and thought this album would be in their style.

Excellent commercial trance from Tiesto
Tiesto (under the name Allure) has produced an album of solid commercial trance (half of the tracks with vocals). It's not `pop' like some of his latest offerings, nor is it Tiesto of old, but it is damn good. If you weren't too keen on the change in musical direction he took with Kaleidoscope (which I wasn't at first), then this is definitely for you.Highly recommended.

Super. 5/5.Damit die sechste Rezension mit 5 Sternen in Folge. Das könnte doch was bedeuten?! :-)
