Almost everything works.
Straight forward install, and most features works, but don't connect the mute wire; when I did at haft volume the radio would mute on its own, and from with I get in a lot of forums a lot of people get the same issue. My best guess it that the adapter is being over loaded on the power draw from the radio and it is bugging out out. No solution from Axxess or Metra about this problem but a temporary fix is not to connect the mute wire. Other then that it works great.

Didn’t work properly
It seemed simple and easy but didn’t work went to my local audio shop and bought the same one and it worked perfectly would have shipped it back but shipments are taking forever right now due to covid so I’m out 160$

Was able to install Aftermarket on my 2006 HHR. Hint. if you have amplified system, use this one, otherwise GMOS-LAN=03 should work.

Took 3 hours to diagnose why it wont work
Chimes are low even at fullVolume & i had to bypass the speaker wires on it bc it would cut sound out of my stereo completely and sometimes not even let it turn on. I have a 300w soundstream stereo brand new so that wasnt the issue
