Genuine Audi 8D0012244A Wheel Bolt Cap Removal Tool

I had a flat tire, I pulled out the spare tire and tools provided in my Audi. All except the cap remover, it was missing. I ordered the Bolt Cap remover and had it delivered the next day. The tool worked exactly as describe, I bought a 2nd one for my other Audi.

Went to change my tire the other day, only to find out that I lost/Misplaced my tool to remove the Lugnut covers (I had to use the wife’s tool from her A6). So I’ve reordered one and received it today and it’s exactly like the other (genuine Audi part made from Germany).Thanks for a timely delivery.

I bought an SQ5 and didn't think to look if this handy and necessary tool came with. I looked everywhere, I thought, with no luck. It wasn't until I went to store the one I purchased that I found the one that came with the vehicle.Good to have a back up!One stamped Spain and one stamped Germany and now that they're together I couldn't tell you which one came with the vehicle.

It works fine. I recommend having a spare on hand. It is light weight and if stepped on it will break.

I have seen reviews saying this is a knock off but works fine. Mine purports to be a genuine VW Audi part. It has the same quality and molding as the original including the VW and Audi Rings, Germany and 8D0 012 244 A, as well as the Manufacture Date clock, 6 17. Seems like the real thing to me. It's expensive for a molded piece of plastic, but well worth it!

So I filed a complaint with Amazon, but at the same time, I bought this part from an Audi parts seller. I received a true OEM part. Then I decided to buy another one. This time, Amazon has gotten rid of all the sellers, and it's sold by Amazon. I ordered again, and I got an OEM part.Part is so simple, but it works well and saves you from destroying your wheel's finish if you were using a metallic screw driver or other metallic tools.
