I must say that these smart plugs are really great and good value for money. Build quality is really good and it is easy to install. I found that there is two apps that can be used to setup and use Tuyasmart and Smart Life, both seems to be identical. Only down side is missing energy monitoring but that's available on little bit expensiver versions, which I'm going to buy now as well.

Excellent little product. Easy to set up and with useful features like daily multiple event schedules and illuminated manual on / button on the side of the device. No hub required. I've bought quite a few of these for myself and for friends and would buy again.

Compact and easy to set up on the Alexa. Responsive through Alexa without any issues found so far.

Used for setting various lights on timer for security and ability to control while i'm away, does this very well. Plugs quite small too which is good. You do need to turn your 5ghz channel off on your router while setting up but this is easy if you know how to access your router. took me about 30 mins to setup all 4 plugs.

Really unhappy. This plug started smoking badly for no reason when linked to our kettle. Thank fully I was there to turn it off behind it caught fire.

Still not been able to connect to Alexa

Using these for the Christmas lights. Easy to use and my husband is a big kid playing with the voice control. Will use them for the normal lighting rest of the year round.

We could not use this product despite getting advice . Maybe it’s our nieveity with technology or the item was purchased without fully understanding of its purpose of use
