Exact part
There wasn’t any pictures on Amazon. So I did all of you folks a favor and bit the bullet here. It happened to be the right part for me. Now you know what it looks like and if it matches yours.

Honda updated the part with this! Honda EU2000i generator
If your Honda EU2000i generator isn't getting spark, unplug the kill switch and try it. It has two wires down behind the on/off knob. The generator will only run with an open circuit and the switch completes the circuit to shut it down. I had some sand in my switch and it sounded pretty rough when it was operated. Honda updated the switch to a new version that has some rubber to protect it from foreign matter entering the mechanical part of the switch. It's pretty easy to install, but you do have to remove most of the generator exterior.

Works great, hard to install
Switch fixed a long-standing starting problem. When I finally dis-assembled to the point of installing the new switch, my generator looked like an exploded Transformer toy. Have many tools and a large workspace when you start to install this switch.
