How does this thing compare to the red foam still point inducer?

I have never tried the Red Foam Still Point Inducer.  I can only describe the Neck King.  I was very skeptical purchasing this product at first; I thought it was too much money for what you received.  After using the Neck King for several months, I honestly can say, I would not want to live without it.  I have found, I need to move my head around on the Neck King until I find the tightest nerves/muscles, whatever is causing my chronic ache, mentally relax for 20-30 minutes and the tightness releases itself.  I am very thankful I took the time to hunt this product down on the internet; it has helped my life greatly.  I apologize for not being able to answer your question....  I have never used Red Foam Still Point Inducer.  Give the Neck King a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Will this work on an older petite woman with a short thick neck?

The Back King may work better in the neck position for shorter thin necks. It can be used with two tennis balls for a softer less aggressive way to work the neck. Using the Neck King you may want to place a hand towel to pad it to comfort.

What is the difference between the pink and blue models on this? Different levels of hardness?

Accepted Answer

The blue Neck King has been out for a number of years. It seems that the company has gotten a lot of requests to offer it in a Cancer Awareness pink and the company decided for marketing to offer Pink as a 'limited edition' color choice. I'm not aware of any other difference. The King hasn't been tweaked and apparently the company relies on a 'don't mess with success'/don't fix it if it ain't broke philosophy.

Question 4

I have myfascial pain and one of the worst spots is the top of the shoulders adjoining the neck.  Can the Neck King work this area?

I see no reason why it couldn't. You can set your spine between any two of the nodules (one set is higher and larger than the other) if that gets it or you can set the Neck King to one side of your spine and rock on and off the nodule that best serves you. Another way would be to get a lacrosse ball and lay on a yoga mat (so the ball doesn't roll away easily) and work any knots with the ball by laying over the ball where your knots are located. The relief is heavenly...best wishes.
