Tight fit in shoes but comfortable after a few days
These insoles take a few days to wear in and need to be shoved into your shoe - but after all the effort, they are fantastic. They are nice and cushiony, and I use them to add padding to my boots and also prevent my boots from creasing (because I'm shorter). Usually my boots will wrinkle and the leather will wear down quickly, but with these inside, they keep their shape a little better. If these were only slightly more affordable I'd buy them for all my shoes. The only downside is that I don't switch them into the shoes I'm wearing every day because they're tough to get into different shoes and take a while to mold. They come in a general size and you cut them down to fit. I cut a bit smaller than my actual shoe size just to get it in. I also don't bother with the extra bottom piece because it doesn't look like it fits that sturdily and I rather just one solid insole.

kinda big, will hurt your feet, but order bigger shoes that you can wear
Good product, however I never use the attachable height increaser. With that said, I only use this product in boots, or else your your ankle/heel showing over the back of your shoe will "give you away."Further, I buy a shoe size 1-2 sizes bigger (normally I'm a 9.5 US, but with this product inserted I must use a 10-10.5 US boot. Also note, when I put these on I usually have to loosen the laces or else my feet will feel too squeezed. So far, these issues seem reasonable to deal with, all things considered.Final MAJOR problem for me, and the reason this isn't a 5 star: for some reason, after using this product in the same boots for about 2 months, the boot has become disfigured near the back/heel area. Its become uneven and looks as though a stack of bricks just sat and pressed the sole of the heel unevenly (very crooked look, and the leather of the shoe just over it has also become crooked). This makes your shoes loose their appeal, but I suppose it is not a big deal if your pant leg is always covering it when standing and not many people will notice when sitting (note: your pant-leg rises and reveals boots when seated).Bottom Line: Recommended if you're willing to buy bigger shoes/boots (1-2 sizes should do). Attachable increaser is unnecessary. I will try other brands of height increasers in the future to see if I can avoid the crooked heel issue.Hope this Helps!

Elevator Insoles
Ordered these for several pairs of my shoes. I have lower back problems by way of three ruptured disks and these not only make me look taller, but also by lifting my heels they make me lean backward a little and make me stand up straighter and improve my posture, thereby making my back hurt less. They are also just the right amount of cushioning such that they provide lower impact to my feet and knees when I walk. The softening of each step is very comfortable and by placing these inserts in my shoes it makes my dress shoes feel more like a well-cushioned pair of tennis shoes. In most of my dress shoes I am unable to use the extra half inch pad because they lift too much and make your heel want to slip out of the shoe. However, in my boots I can use both parts of the lifts and they soften the heel impact with the ground even more. These work best in lace shoes so you can loosen the laces and let the arch of your foot rise higher in the shoe. These would not work well in slip ons or penny loafers as the lift would make the top of the shoe above your arch too tight. So, not only am I happy with these lifts, they help me feel better and they were much more reasonably priced than most of the others. I would highly recommend these shoe insoles.

Give them a try!
I've seen so many reviews for these and they are ether great or just suck. Let me share my experience. This is my review of these but now with different footwear. One thing to understand is one needs to pick out a good shoe. Another, its and I believe I said this before. Don't get greedy. An inch or two in height is noticeable to me when I walk and i'm taller than some people that I work around. I stand about five nine in bare feet so while not short, I just wanted an extra edge. Also, if you're five six and stand six feet others will notice something strange in you're gait as well as your torso.Yes, these are GREAT.......BUT......you need to understand what they are and wear correct shoes. Not just high tops or boots but the right shoes. I have a forty dollar pair of high-top boots that I can place both pieces in and even add another and can be well over six feet tall. Not really that awkward but not very good for more than an hour or two. I've used them with rebock high-tops and can use just the larger one inch lift. Not bad but a little cramped but good support. The best fit for me? I got some Sketchers afterburner with memory foam. Ordered on here but never received so picked them up at Sears on sale for 39.99 and 10 bucks off for 30 bucks. I am a size ten with average with feet. The Skechers I got from Sears were an 10 extra wide. They work much better than the boots and high top sneakers. I place the larger lift in the shoe and it's much less crowded than the Rebock high tops. Even though these are ankle fit shoes, there is still about two inches of coverage. I can lace them tightly and don't have to worry about my ankle rolling nor are my feet smothered. I work in retail and am on my feet about 50 hours per week. If anything, i've found these to be more comfortable as the 1 inch insert is just more padding between me and the concrete floor. My advice, just try these, find the best shoe, and again, don't get greedy. An inch or two does not mess up the way you walk, will make you taller around others, but will not be that dramatic that others will notice you're wearing lifts.

You do not want to be taller. Promise me.
Unless you want to feel like you are physically broken, you will not use these to make you feel taller. Yes, they make you taller (and by quite a good margin). No, you will not feel good and start closing any deals because you will have trouble walking and your feet will hurt and you will look like an injured gazelle. Just stop it! You're not going to win with these things in your shoes. They are beastly contraptions, designed to prey on those who have the unfortunate condition of being both short AND cheap.
