it seems to be working, I added AHK-Cu to Ordinary hair serum & apply it after Alpecin my hair is appearing to be improving in strength & stopped shedding.

I will say this, I put it on my hair, and my husband said I smell like a barbershop. However it does have the same caffeine ingredients comparable to the ordinary. They have more peptides. But I do like the menthol stimulation on my scalp. I bought it because I'm suffering with post surgery telogen effluvium. This was suggested as a treatment because of the caffeine and zinc. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks. So we'll see what happens.

I'm pretty sure it might work, tho no one has commented on my hair. I am halfway thru my 2nd bottle with certainly no negatives. The Shampoo dries out my bleached hair too much

I was really excited to receive the Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo and After Shampoo Liquid combo to help combat my hair loss. My first impressions: it had a nice masculine smell and provided a tingling sensation that felt as if it was really working to preserve and enhance my hair and scalp. However, after a week's worth of use, I noticed my hair falling out in greater quantities along with an increase in scalp irritation, itch and dandruff. I know I am to use the product longer to receive maximum benefits, but I did not want to risk any more damage to my hair/scalp, so I stopped its use prematurely. I do not believe any product should cause this much harm before making things better. The idea of this shampoo/topical combo is great and I really really like the smell, however the parabens in the shampoo along with the alcohol in the liquid really damaged my hair follicles and dried out my scalp. I hope others had better luck, but these items are not for me.

I have occasionally used Alpecin products over the past years, and they worked well for me. This Caffeine Shampoo C1 in particular was exceptionally good for the price. After a couple of times using the shampoo, I clearly saw the improvements right away. My hair looks healthier, thicker, and stronger and it is being styled nicely after each use. I tried the after shampoo liquid too which gives my scalp a very refreshing and cool feeling after each application. I would certainly continue using and buying these. Compared to several fancy and pricey shampoos out there which I have tried and did not really do anything, I believe this product is a very good deal, price-and-quality wise. I rarely take the time and effort to write a review for my Amazon shoppings, but I did it for this product because it deserves it. Thanks Dr. Wolff.

I know this Liquid for a years, and just discover the good price here...will continue to enjoy the delicious smell and the amazing result. As per use: I use only for the dry clean hair, roots only of course. This bottle is not comfy for daily use and I bought small travel spray bottle - much more useful!!! With brush I do parting in the hair and spray along the roots, after do the second and spray again...try to cover almost all roots and after start to massage the liquid for the better absorption and good result for couple of minutes...you will feel nicely warm head and super smell of this liquid, what I love more:)) I was using this liquid without Alpecin Shampoo and it gives the results anyway. Buy, Try and Enjoy!
