Yerba Mate Cachamate, 1.1 lbs, From Argentina

I have been drinking Mate for 5 years now, and have recently discovered this mescla (mix) of mate and herbs that has such a wonderful flavor. The flavor is a bit smoky (thought the mate isn't smoked) due to the herbs in the mix (fennel, pennyroyal, coriander, mint, chamomile). It isn't very strong, either, which allows me to drink this pretty much all day long without feeling 'spun out.'My two complaints: that there is a lot of very fine powder that definitely will clog the bombilla if not sifted out; Amazon's price for this is way too high...a local Italian grocer sells the same size for $5.50.Highly recommended.

This is strong, but has a nice flavor. It does have a lot of fine particles that make it through the bombilla though. Because of this I skip the traditional way of drinking and turned to actually brewing it like one does with tea. This works well and actually produces a much better flavor.

I love it! It is the perfect blend of herbs that give the yerba maté a lively, fresh taste.

This has good flavor, i like it with a tsp of sugar, i'm not sure the traditionalists would agree with that add on, but for my taste it was really good. I'll buy again in the future. I'm not sure that its an overall coffee substitute, but it tastes better than coffee, and you don't have coffee breath

Es mi yerba preferida! Me gusta que es suave y no me causa acidez. Perfecta para los que sufren de gastritis

love the flavor, but i wish can be cheaper

If you don't have an argentine market near you it's a good price. Love this mate!

I like this tea very much and it arrived quickly, but the package was open slightly
