I'm a beginner, would this be suitable for me?

I have a D80 and was little more than a beginner when I bought it. It has an automatic setting that does all the work, so you can know nothing about cameras and use it. As you progress, there are more complicated settings. And it comes with a manual that does simplify the process.

can I use this d80 with my af nikkor 70-300 mm1:4-5.6G lens and Sigma28-90mmD lens?

I like Ken Rockwell's Nikon website, http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d80.htm. You will find your lens both work, but not full functions of either lens. And crop factor of 1.5 will make these lens capture your pictures a little larger than what your used to on an older camera.
