VViViD Gloss Silver Chrome Air-Release Vinyl Adhesive Tape Roll (2 Inch x 30ft)

Having an 80’s vintage El Camino, the interior chrome trim was peeling. This tape worked well replacing the original chrome. A bit finicky getting correct, but I had plenty on the roll to practice. Definitely cheaper than replacing the door panel.

This vinyl adhesive tape feels like a very high-quality product right out of the roll. The gloss silver chrome finish is bright and reflective, providing a professional and clean look for trim work or detail accents. The air-release technology is a standout feature, making it much easier to apply smoothly without the frustration of trapped air bubbles. The material has a good weight and flexibility to it, suggesting it is well-made and durable. However, the long-term performance remains to be seen, particularly regarding how well it will stand against consistent exposure to water and the elements. For indoor projects or areas that stay relatively dry, it is an excellent and stylish solution, but its longevity in wet conditions is still a question mark. Bottom Line: A high-performing and aesthetically pleasing adhesive tape that is easy to work with. It is a great choice for adding a metallic touch to various surfaces, though its weatherproofing capabilities will need more time to be fully evaluated.

I had some minor damage to the chrome bumper of a used car I just bought. I applies as recommended and it covered the damage perfectly. My intent is to keep the damage from continuing to peel. So far so good. Adhesion was good, I used a heat gun that made the difference. Time will tell.

it's fine .. but not very sticky. I bought to cover a plastic surface and it was just not sticky enough to cling to it. This tape would be fine for sticking on paper or maybe mat paint smooth walls etc.

Vivid vinyl has yet to let me down. It is absolutely the best vinyl on the market. It's very, very user, friendly, and it looks fantastic. Doesn't get any fish scales or anything. When it gets wet, like some of the cheaper stuff, highly recommend vivid vinyl as that's all I use and have been using for several years now.

This was clearly cut from the end of a wider roll by what I guess was a bandsaw. one edge of the entire roll is ripped to shreds This is totally unusable and unacceptable. There is no way that this is a Vvivid branded product. Also, it isn't a copper color. maybe bronze.

The Chrome color is great. The biggest issue with this product is the adhesion which is poor.

An absolutely amazing product! It made the rusty shocks on my 1965 Honda C100 look new! Easy to use and the results are great.

Used this to rewrap the grille on my vehicle. The adhesive sticks really well to the plastic, and I haven’t had any issues with it.

This is absolute garbage at this price! It’s ordinary matt silver metallic adhesive tape - and not much of it at that! It comes at an exorbitant price - mainly due to its being an ‘automotive product’ There must be other better priced products on the market.
