Effective
Easy to use and perfect for removing the ant menace. Tried it both indoors and in the garden, and worked at both places perfectly. The garden ant hills after the rain, remains flat, indicating no activity, and indoor the ants had disappeared totally. Used it for the red ants.

Wastage of money
This product is full wastage of money. It did not control ants at all, finally bought another ant killer. I bought it because cockroach killer from this brand was good but ant killer completely disappointed.

Largely ineffective. I've had all the pods down for 3 days now and the ants ignore them and walk around. Waste of money I'm afraid.

I've used these Raid ant baits several times. My house is right next to a large game preserve with a mix of forest, fields, and marsh. So we get a lot of ants of all varieties. Tiny little pavement ants, carpenter ants wandering in and looking for new nesting sites, little red (not Fire) ants that love to literally eat through plastic bags and contaminate our food. I've seen at least five varieties that show up in various numbers each year. And the Raid baits seem to help reduce the numbers of all of them. But these baits only seem to kill the adult ants, not the nests. So if you have a major infestation or an ant mound right next to your foundataion, you'll need something else to actually get rid of them altogether. My recommendation would be to buy the Raid baits as a first line, then check for active nests nearby. If you find one spewing large numbers of ants within 50 feet of your home, grab a couple of them and do a species check on an identification website. That'll give you a better idea of which bait, granule, or spray you need to kill off the queen and larvae. This often takes weeks, but once they're gone they'll stay gone at least until the next queen breeding cycle, which is a once a year thing for most ant species.

It comes without double sided tape as other brands, as this made to be sticked in place
