It Fit
My glovebox handle broke, so this was purchased to replace it. It was a little pricy, but I was happy to have found it on line. It installed easily, but the latch does not close in the same way as the original one did: I have to slightly slam it to make it stay closed. However, it does the trick, and that's what matters.

Easy Install
I own a 1999 Dodge Durango SLT Magnum 5.9. I glove box latch broke about five years ago. It would close but not open. I would use a small flathead screw driver to open it. I decided to replace the latch. I ordered this one. It took five minutes to remove the old and install the new. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the latch. Save the screws because the new latch does not come with screws. The old screws fit the new latch fine. The new latch works like a charm.

Perfect fit for 98 Dakota
Literally perfect fit for my 98 Dakota glove box latch. Darn plastic latch broke about 3 yrs ago, finally decided to spend to replace it. Undo the two screws closest to the latch, wiggle it free (bit of time and patience), put the new one in, and add the 2 screws back. Other than the color, perfect replacement. I guess they quit making the lighter gray color latches. Kind of expensive, ~$50, but it's a 22+ yr old truck. Way cheaper than buying a new truck, ~50000. Now to finish the headliner... LOL

Works Ok - good price
Gray color matches 2000 Dodge Dakota model well. No screws come with the new model but if you’re taking off the old broken latch, it has screws right?I found that the new model threads were very tight. So what I did was to thread the screws into the new latch (outside of the glove box) and then take the screws off. This made it EASIER now to screw the screws into the new latch.More Tips: remove the 2 inside screws to remove the old latch (you’ll see 4 screws around the latch inside the glove box) I also put some grease on latch metal so as not to stickI didn’t give a 5 because the new latch is not very flush with glove box. See picture and how latch handle is higher

Thank you good job
I have been looking for this glove box latch for a very log time. I've seen it on the internet for $75 to $89. Wish I would have checked you out a very long time ago.

Worked perfect
Worked perfect, I can now shut my glove box again. Cost wasn’t cheap, but worth it to have working latch, shipped swiftly to my door.
