a stand for all seasons
what a sturdy, portable, multi-platform table! the table length and height are adjustable and it is sturdy without weighing a ton to be useful for any musical devices, like heavy keyboards, and is wide enough, in my case, for both a steel guitar and a lap steel guitar sitting side by side. the legs are wide enough apart to admit floor board units, like the Line 6 X3, etc, to fit between them, and the metal table top is plenty strong and doesn't flex under load. it comes with two strips of thin stick on pads, but i chose to cover the metal tops with double sticky taped rubber bottomed carpet mat. the tape adheres securely to the metal top with no fear of the carpet falling off during transport. On Stage also sells a secondary keyboard riser that fits into mounts on the table, should a second layer be desired. i would like to also point out that this table could be used on stage with any musical gear, like mixer boards, drum machines, any outboard gear, if they are affixed to a board of some kind or one is set upon it. there are holes and slots in the table top should any attachments be required to securely hold such boards carrying the equipment. i am thoroughly pleased with this table and would not hesitate to buy another as needs arise.

Finally a stand that lets you focus on playing instead of trying to keep your keyboard still!
I have been playing piano and keyboards for more than 33 years. In that time I have owned many different keyboard stands. While the column stands have improved, they're still a little heavy for transport to and from a gig. The X style stands, though slightly easier for transport, still have a tendency to wobble a bit and can be a little springy. As soon as I unpacked this stand, I was immediately gratified that it required no assembly. Simply unfold, adjust the width and height, then setup your keyboard. Simplicity can be quite rewarding. I placed a Yamaha MOX6 on it, and was immediately impressed. It didn't budge, and increased the satisfaction of playing immensely. It's challenging enough to perform well, let alone do that with stands that keep moving around is frustrating. But this is an excellent stand, and much more affordable than many others that I've owned. I definitely would like to purchase more of them and hope that they continue making them. I highly recommend it, and thanks to Amazon for the quick delivery!

Very solid and functional, according to size of keyboard.
The On Stage KS7150 Table Top Keyboard Stand was just what I was looking for. It is very stable and when it is not being used, it can fold up compactly. My Yamaha keyboard does not slide around on this table because the keyboard has some rubber pads underneath that "grab" the metal top and create sufficient friction. It is a heavy table because it is made to hold up to 350 pounds. My keyboard is not nearly that heavy, but I prefer this table anyway. If I get a bigger, heavier keyboard, I won't need to upgrade my table. And as I mentioned before, this table folds up very compactly. and stows away out of sight. Someone in another review commented about the table giving under the keyboard, but I don't see how the table I received could fit that description. Revised comments: A smaller keyboard does not slide around on this table because the rubber pads on the bottom of the keyboard create friction on the top of keyboard stand. However, I just started using a larger keyboard, and found that the keyboard did slide on the stand because its rubber pads were too widely spaced for the table top. I used the friction pads sent with the keyboard stand, peeling off the protective layer and sticking them to the top of the stand. Then the keyboard was reasonably steady in place. The stand can sway slightly now, extended to full width.

Very solid, customizable stand
This seems very well made and sturdy - even extended to its full length. I won't actually try it, but it feels strong enough to hold me if I laid down on it (I'm 195lbs). It fits my midi keyboard and midi pad perfectly and its a lot more customizable than I originally thought (I just bought the microphone attachment and laptop mount add-ons). The full height is perfect for me as well (I'm 6'3) and there's plenty of room for my pedal board below. These are two things I haven't found in other reasonably priced stands. I usually wait a while to use something before reviewing it, but I feel rather confident this will hold up over years of use. There were some minor scratches on the stand upon opening it, but not enough to bother me.

the best, exactly what I wanted
I play in a band, and I like having the keys a little lower. We play outside, lots of places, and each leg being adjustable is amazing. I bought a large case (also on amazon) that fits both this & my keyboard. I hate that most stands feel a little wobbly, and I feel completely safe & secure with this stand. Absolutely love it. This stand has made my gigs so much more fun. I wouldn't have anything else. So grateful, so worth the investment, I so so recommend this.

Legs adjust independently allowing for slight tilt and better keyboard ergonomics - great stand!
Works perfectly for my Korg Kronos (61 key). I love the fact that the legs adjust independently. I adjusted the rear ones to be slightly taller than the front, which slightly tilts the keyboard and make it much easier to play for long periods of time. I am using it in a home studio with a carpeted floor; on stage I would not want to tilt the keyboard because it would be unstable, but then again, there is no danger of me ever taking the stage, so I'm set! The length easily adjusts for any keyboard. The bottom is open and allows for cooling. In summary - highly recommended!

"Solid" is a relative term
I got this stand because I liked the idea of having something portable with nice leg room. However, it wasn't as stable as I hoped. I'm using it with an 88-key Yamaha P-120 keyboard, and I had to extend the length of the stand all the way in order to rest the keyboard on its rubber feet (without putting just the flat bottom of the keyboard on the stand). For some reason, they put large holes on the table top, and these made it more difficult for me to rest the keyboard on its rubber feet. I had to position it just right. At full length, the middle of the stand sags a bit kind of like a curtain rod at full length without any center support. As I played the keyboard, it was "stable" but not $50 stable. It wasn't very difficult for me to wobble it side to side. For me, it felt kind of rickety. The overall construction just doesn't give me full confidence that my expensive keyboard is resting on something reliable. It does the job, but I would feel better if I paid half the price. This stand is probably more appropriate for smaller keyboards or sound boards. I do not recommend it for full-size keyboards that are moderately heavy.

Multipurpose
This little stand serves so many purposes for me.. At home, it is a keyboard stand and even a stand to put my pedalboard on when I want to test out different pedal configurations. At my gig, It holds my presonus mixer, A laptop and all of my wireless transmitters and receivers.. It is so versatile because it can be narrow or wide AND Short or Tall.. As well, I have the onstage connector that will allow you to connect a mic boom to it.. I plan on using this one day to hold my Ableton Live machine as well as a small 2 octave keyboard and I will use the mic boom arm at that point! Even as a keyboard stand, I like it because I can put pedals underneath it.. WIth it fully extended to "Long" mode, I can fit both my pedal train pro and mini underneath it.. Of course, that is 54 solid inches of stage front though.. Which is indeed a lot for the small places I fit into with my duo..

Great value, 4-legged support for long, deep, and heavy digital piano slabs.
Great value, 4-legged support for long, deep, and heavy digital piano slabs. Stands evenly, and lots of leg room underneath. Just wish it was 2 inches longer in length to fit the circular feet pads of my Kawai ES8 into the pre-slotted holes on the stand for better support. Had to shorten the length to 42" (distance between feet pads) and rely on the rubber sticker strips instead. One positive from this setup is the entire length of the stand matches the length of the digital piano (since the feet point outward).

Great stand, sturdy and nice to play while sitting
Great stand, sturdy and nice to play while sitting. Best use is at home/studio by leaving it in the same position and you can fold the legs to store it somewhere else. For gigs, x stands are more practical and fast to set up.

Sturdy, Heavy, Tall
#1 Is sits high on the lowest setting so you probably need a seat that is not too low. #2 Sturdy #3 Fits a range of keyboards sizes and works well with my smallest, a 49-key Yamaha MX49 #4 Quite heavy, made of steel, this is not something I want to lug around on public transit. Car OK #5 More room for one's legs and feet than an X-stand. #6 I am still looking for something similar but made from lighter materials. I would like to have a stand that is a better match in weight with my 7 pound keyboard for ultra portability.

Minimal, looking good, wide enough
Great stand. I tried various type and I liked this the best. Mainly because it doesn’t take too much space and looks minimal as opposed to Z and X stands.
