The Frame

Ive attached photos comparing original housing frame (left) and sametop housing frame (right). I love it! My original frame broke while traveling and the sametop housing frame is a perfect for my gopro hero5 black. The cutouts are more generous for button pressing and microphones than the original frame. The housing frame came with a mount, and is also compatible with official mounts. The included mount also fits official accessories just as you'd expect. Also the lens cover is great. Last one i had (different brand) fell off with the slightest touch but the sametop lens cover fits snuggly and doesn't feel like it will fall off every time i throw my gopro in my bag. Highly recommend this product if you find your official housing frame broke.

Great Product

As you can see in the video and images, there are three big upgrades in The Frame compared to the factory GoPro 7 frame housing. First, the overall construction, plastic quality and rigidity are excellent and very secure. This case allows the critical ability to open the side door to enable HDMI output, and more importantly, USB-C charging, without removing the camera from its case. That's a huge upgrade. The right side has a cutout so you get more tactile feel of the actual camera power button, a big complaint I had with the GoPro shell. It also has superior cut-outs for microphone. Finally, the included lens cover is far superior to other covers I have purchased as it stays on more securely. I'm a long-time Sametop user and this product is like their others: Consistently high quality and great value for money. Good job, Sametop!

Just received new GoPro housing the other day, it looks okay, my camera fits in it the way it should. I can't comment on the longevity of the product because I've only had it for 2 days. The price was good, a whole lot cheaper than order it from GOPRO. UPDATE: For some reason my GoPro doesn't fit in the housing anymore. Did it warp? I'm surprised. Have tried patiently to fit it in to the housing/cage, it will NOT fit right. But like many always say, You Get What You Pay For! So, it lasted about 6 months. More Chinese crap.

Nice, solid and fits my old arss hero 5 perfectly than the original housing that it came with years ago lol. On top of that its nice to be able to have the covering back on the ports without having to take the cam out of the housing. I finally have a use for my cam and glad that this was available.

Ho acquistato questo telaio per la mia Gopro Hero 7 Black in quanto quello originale si era rotto. Devo dire che la fattura non è male e svolge la sua funzione egregiamente. In più, rispetto all'originale, ha la possibilità di accedere alla parte dello sportello di alimentazione senza aprire il telaio.
