Works great with Motorola Lapdock and being able to control my Alienware Alpha with the touchpad and keyboard. I can use all the keys without issue, change the volume on this device on windows, change the brightness, all of the normal keys on a normal keyboard are here as far as I'm aware. It even has ctrl+alt+del but you need to hold down the "fn" key. The benefits of using this cable with the lapdock is I can also attach usb devices to the motorola lapdock like a mouse and usb flash drive. I am not sure if it has enough power for a hard drive though. I'm pretty sure this cable is data only as well without power so it hasn't caused any issues so far connected to my alienware alpha. Works great as designed, never thought id need this cable but do for programming integrated RFID scanners.

Worked as it should even though i would have liked to have seen it a bit thicker , I believe it to be a good cable. The cable serves its purpose and should get your job done . Was a good price, would recommend to a friend

My daughter misplaced the charging connector for her Apple Pencil and this worked perfectly. The usb charges it and it is actual micro usb that works for many different things. Thought it was a great price as well!

I had a device that was a male micro-usb that I needed to plug into my computer which didn't have a microusb slot. This allowed me to adapt it so I could plug it into a regular usb-a slot.

I have a smart card reader that has a micro-USB male connector that I use to connect to my laptop ( SGT119X Smartbadge CAC ID Holder Smart Card Reader with Retractable USB Connector ). The reader came with a micro-USB to USB adapter that allows it to be connected to the laptop but it it very stiff and tends to bend and almost broke off. This short cable allows me to connect the smart card reader to the laptop using a more flexible connection and works very well.

Just received. Cheap. USB male plug is fine but micro USB female plug is just barely adequate. Not very deep and when you insert a male micro USB you feel it will come loose even though it is as far in as it will go. Did work though.

I got this and a revered micro HDMI adapter thing for use with a Motorola LapDock. It works great. With this cable plugged into something like a computer from the LapDock the touchpad and keyboard on the lapdock will show up as USB devices. It worked perfectly for that. Depending on your application with this and a lapdock you may need a USB extension. It also seems fairly well made. I did test this with a 3' USB extension and it works fine.

Ich habe eine lange Zeit nach diesem Kabel gesucht, nachdem mein "selbstgebautes" (mit versch. Kabeln und Adaptern) nicht funktioniert hat. Touchpad und Keyboard funktionieren wunderbar. Vorsicht: Das Kabel, das ich erhalten habe, liefert auch Strom, dh. Kabel mal kurz aufschneiden und Stromkabel (rot) innerhalb noch kurz durchtrennen.

Not many PCs or laptops are fitted with a micro USB socket and when you have a device that has a micro USB plug that needs to be connected to a standard USB socket in a PC, what do you do? This converter with a short cable (approiximately 220mm actual cable - to 300mm from plug end to plug end) comes in handy for such an application although for my own use, I wish that the cable is a lot longer at say, double the length. The micro USB socket is a tight, positive lock when a micro USB plug is inserted which gives one a feeling of security (some other micro USB socketed devices do not provide for this). Overall, fairly pleased with the conversion cable which is a lot more economical than just conversion adapters themselves without a cable.
