Only thing you need to make a smooth coffee
Less mechanical and electronic stuff = less hassle. This is probably the simplest thing you can use to make coffee. Subjectively the pour over coffees taste smoother and nicer to me than espresso based coffees. I don’t need to worry about cleaning and maintenance with this product. Still makes great coffee. Cheap and looks good.

So Good and So Easy. Never Going Back To French Press.
I am thrilled with this v60 dripper. I was so tired of cleaning the components on our french press every day. And, pour over makes a better coffee, it just does. This is the perfect size too, it sits so nicely on top of a variety of mugs we use. Cleanup is just trashing the filter and rinsing the dripper. We even wrapped this in a towel and took it on our last vacation because we really enjoy making our own coffee on our hotel room (and don't like the pod machines.

High End Coffee Shop Taste Without The High Price Of Boutique Coffee
I have made the switch from French press to pore-over several years ago with a dripper I got from World Market (pictured on right) and it was a noticeable difference in taste not to mention quicker cleanup. Recently I’ve seen drippers with three holes and thought it would be better as the original one has only one hole and was kinda slow to brew. So I set on a research journey for a new one and discovered this V60. Soon as I saw the big hole and the well defined flutings I knew I was onto something. After reading all the high reviews and seeing all sorts of videos on various types of brewing I knew this is the new upgrade. This morning I brewed coffee in the V60. The brewing process I followed was the 5 pour method and it took 2 minutes less than the previous dripper I have been using for years. But the biggest takeaway here is the taste of the coffee. Same method as I have been doing and completely different taste. Literally a high end coffee shop taste. At first I was surprised at the size compared to my original one. But that does’t matter since it’s a pour-over and you never fill it up. Second the quality and craftsmanship is superb. It is quite thinner than the original one so needs a littler more care when handling. Third it looks wonderful just standing there and you can tell that it’s a pro level dripper. Definitely worth the money if you want to great tasting coffee without spending $5 bucks at some coffee shop. If you are on the fence on making the purchase, I highly recommend it.

The perfect brew every time!
I have used this for almost a year. It produces a great cup of coffee every time when paired with the Hario V60 filter. It is ceramic, so it is prone to chipping. Even with the chip, the coffee quality is great, and the pour over pot is still very much in tact. I would definitely buy this again!

Joy of pour over
I've always been a drip coffee lover. All these years I have resisted the trend of single serve pod machines and fancy espresso makers. And about a month ago, something came over me: I ditched my 9-year-old drip coffee maker and got me an eye-pleasing semi-automatic espresso machine. My rationale was, a ten-cup coffee maker was too clunky for one person. While I enjoyed the professional look of cappuccino every morning and the simplicity of cleaning up afterwards, something was missing. One Saturday, after a brunch at a local bakery with an endless mug of coffee, I decided to have an option to make simple drip coffee again, but not with two coffee makers sitting on my countertop. After much research I went for this Hario along with a Hiware glass carafe. As soon as the two arrived (on the same day, thank goodness), I ripped open the packaging like a desperate addict, rinsed them, and followed the instructions to make four cups of my first ever pour-over coffee. Watching the coffee grinds bloom, smelling the coffee while brewing, hearing the drips, seeing rich brown coffee though the glass carafe are all only enjoyable but teach me a lot about the brewing process. This is what they mean by "user control" in pour over coffee making. Both the aroma and the temperature of coffee that came out exceeded my already-high expectation. It was one of the best coffee I had anywhere. I "heard" and felt different parts of my body being switched on as coffee traveled though it. This I never had with the fancy espresso maker. Fair warning: because so much is in your control, your coffee can be substantially different every time you make one. More so than an automatic drip machine. Also, unless you purchase a hot plate to rest the carafe on, the coffee does get cold. But overall, I am very pleased. Very simple to use, fun to experiment, enjoyable to see and smell. I'm glad I got this two-piece system instead of the one-piece flask because I think it's much easier to wash and store after use. I got my Hario in white ceramic, and it is heavier than I thought. It is much heavier than the carafe. It does not affect its functionality, and looks sturdy enough to not get easily chipped.

Quality piece but not necessarily better than cheaper products.
So it's a pour over coffee cone. it's not exactly rocket science and pretty much all of these things perform similarly. Likely the only reason you're even here is you want something "nicer", something that will "last forever" and possibly something that's "not plastic" (which can be desirable for lots of reasons) and you're ok paying a premium for it. Well I can attest that this thing is a well made piece of ceramic. It feels good, the glaze and formation are very even, it looks stylish, easy to clean, I have no doubt this thing could possibly last forever. works fine for my 16 Oz tumbler. So what are the downsides? well being ceramic it's vulnerable to chips and breaks, it's also quite heavy. But if you're here you're probably OK with that. The biggest downside? It completely covers the cup! Many of the plastic or metal ones have gaps in the brim so you can see the coffee level as you pour. With this thing you're pouring blind, you either need to measure ahead or keep lifting it up to check the level. So for that usability issue It loses a star. If you just need some coffee get a plastic or even clear glass one for 1/3 the price. If you want something that looks like a piece of decor but also makes coffee and you don't mind pouring blind. get this thing.

Easy to use, makes a good cup of coffee!
Works well, a great alternative to refillable k cups. How tasty your coffee will be is determined by the coffee you use and the pour process, but this dripper will do a nice job.
