Jake & Amos Chow Chow / 2 - 16 Oz. Jars

This is my 4th order, it's a really great tasting product. I like it because if I forget to make a vegetable to go with dinner, all I have to do is open a jar.

Did you ever buy a product that could have been a real loser and unworthy of the cost? If you never had Chow Chow in large pieces such as Jake & Amos's you might just be a happier person such as we were recently. For years, we loaded our cart with pesto-sized chow chow and found that quite satisfactory; however, when seeing Jake & Amos's we had to check it out and we are delighted to experience another way to enjoy something we already enjoy in another form.The pieces are whole and twice-cut beans along with other identifying veggies with a sweet and sour taste that will start a fight if you sass it. A lot of other country folks say similar things, but more eloquently such as 'tastes great' or 'yum, yum' plus a string of other platitudes. We like them. If you try them, I hope you like them as well as we.

we use the chow chow as an vegetable for a quick meal. Very tasty and healthy. However the last batch that came was not packed properly and was received with the tops ajar and the brine it was in leaked out and therefore could not be used. After notifying Amazon it was removed from my bill promptly. Previous batch was fine and was thoroughly enjoyed

Couldn’t taste as it leaked

Tastes just like the Chow Chow I remember having in an Amish restaurant in Lancaster. Excellent as a side-dish condiment with other vegetables.

To much vinegar in my option

I was surprised that it wasn’t chopped up more
