The Last Headphone Cable You'll Buy (Until You Lose It)
As someone who's sent countless headphone cables to the great audio jack in the sky, I've become a reluctant expert in replacement cables. This one's been faithfully connected to my Philips SHP9500S for over 6 months, and honestly, I'm starting to worry it might outlive me.BUILD QUALITY:✓ Slim metal housing that actually fits with phone cases (finally, I can retire my "cable whittling" hobby)✓ Gold connectors - because your music deserves better than gas station tin✓ Professional-grade heat shrink protection (the kind of thing guitar players brag about)✓ Flexible rubber shielding that doesn't try to cosplay as a garden hosePRACTICAL FEATURES:Perfect 4-foot length - unlike those cables that could double as a jump ropeWorks with any standard 3.5mm jack (yes, it's promiscuous)So streamlined it makes those coiled telephone cables look like they're having an identity crisisDURABILITY TEST:Six months of daily abuse, including workouts where I probably looked like a hamster on an espresso binge, and it's still performing like it's day one. No loose connections, no splits, no drama.VALUE:At $8, it costs less than my daily coffee habit and performs better than cables that cost more than my monthly streaming subscription. It's like finding a Ferrari at Honda prices, except it's a headphone cable and I might be getting carried away with analogies.VERDICT:If you're tired of your cable collection looking like a wire graveyard, this one's your ticket to audio nirvana. It's the Toyota Corolla of headphone cables - reliable, practical, and surprisingly well-built for the price. Just try not to lose it (I'm looking at you, person who can never find their phone charger).

Quality and Durable
Nice rubber insulation with Ultra Polished and Durable connectors. Have used about 9 months now for connecting my car audio to my phone so when I get in and out of my car I connect and disconnect. No glitches or noise with these, just solid connections. I don't treat these roughly but have been using them while driving Uber for passenger entertainment. Perfect sound every time and I used to be an Audio Repairman and I must say I am impressed with these from tip to tip and will purchase again if needed.

The size of the jack is thin enough to easily get through the cut-out for my headphone port on ...
For years and years, I have been using old Radio Shack cables to hook my phone to my car's AUX jack. The cables were always stiff, cheap-feeling, and the ends were wrapped in plastic that was so thick it wouldn't get past my phone case's headphone port cut-out.I looked for a reasonably-priced replacement for my wife and myself due to these issues and came upon these cables. I'm very impressed:Size of jack: The size of the jack is thin enough to easily get through the cut-out for my headphone port on my phone case. This was a must.Feel of the cable: The cable itself is made of a supple, flexible material that easily bends yet resists tangling. It neatly drapes rather than jutting at odd angles.Fit and finish: Wow - the plugs themselves have a metal sheath that screams durability and the gold-plated plugs are a nice touch - I've often had to "erase" my other plugs to rub corrosion off and prevent static. These will likely prevent that for quite some time.Price: I honestly think these were cheaper than the cruddy Radio Shack cables I had and I bought those years ago. Add to that these shipped for free in two days via Prime and I'm extremely happy.Audio quality: Well, honestly I can't give you a great amount of detail here as it's hard to pinpoint audio details on a mid-range stereo in a car. There is just too much going on that interferes with nuances. I'm positive they at least meet the quality of my old cables and I have never had the issues companies like Monster claim you will get with thinner cables. I'll leave the in-depth audio reviews for someone with the right equipment.Yeah, I'm sure you can find cheaper cables if you look. No, I doubt you will find them all around as good as these or have them ship as fast. These suit my needs and exceed my expectations. Yet another Anker product I'm quite pleased to own.

GREAT cable. very high quality. Great price. Very impressed.
Bought March 2017: This is great AUX cable for your IPAD, IPHONE, or other device to connect to external speakers or other devices. I did use it to connect an IPHONE to external speakers. The cord should also work fine in older vechicles thaat accept an AUX cord for inpou to the car or truck's audio system.I ordered the 4 ft length. This is long enough but not so long the cord become a bother in a car, or at home. The cord semms to be what some call no-snag cables. Also very nice insulation to ikeep signal quality across the wire. The plugs are 2 channel stereo plugs. You would expect that, but there are some out there that are mono plugs. Plugs with the 2 black bands or maybe one red and one green, around the tip are usually stereo plugs, or should be. So these will pass your 2 channel audio to another device. I tested that also. Both channels get transmitted. The quality control on the plugs seems very good and I like the extra metal cylindrical 1 inch covering so when you attach and detach the cables the probability of the cord getting detached from the plug over many uses (in ad out of something) is very unlikely. that is GREAT!In the box you will find a 1 page customer support contact info. Nice ! They are thinking about their customers. The pbone number is also on the bottom of the box.And it comes with a detachable velcro wire wrap to wrap this to store it away, or use the velcro strap to wrap some other wires you may have. You might find less expensive ones, and probably several that are more expensive, but I doubt they will come close to the quality of this cable.
