I find that Birkenstock run on the small side. I generally wear a 7.5 -8 in shoes. However I purchase a 37 in Birkenstock which is their equivalent of a 6-6.5. The width fits great, Id say like a medium width. The silver color is even better in person. I will say as with all Birkenstock they do require a break in period. They have a raised toe bar which is helpful for gripping the shoe when walking. When you first wear the shoes you may find the bar a bit uncomfortable. The midsection of the sole has a raised arch to help with weight distribution. And the heel cup is lower for added support. My recommendation is to wear the shoes for short periods of time around the house before you wear them for the day. It will help mold the foot bed to your foot and give time to break them in. I have had plantar fasciitis for years on and off. I find that Birkenstocks are my go to shoes for relieving pain and helping the healing process. I highly recommend them. I will not that if you have flatter feet these may not be the best style for you due to the raised arch.

Love these shoes, though I didn't go with Amazon's size recommendation. I'm a 7 1/2 and the 37 fits perfect. Amazon recommended a 38. They took a few days to break in, but now I can wear them all day and they are beyond comfortable. I've also received many compliments on them! Very happy with my purchase!

I go through Birkenstocks year after year! I love them so much because I have very high arches and my knees are sensitive to the shoes I wear. These are the only sandals I will ever wear, and that is coming from someone who has custom made orthopedics in all her other shoes. Great arch support and comfort. They may take a few days to break in so don't wear them the full day on the first day if you are not used to them. I wear these the entire summer and have never had problems with them. Highly recommend!

I would love to rate this shoe with 5 stars, but unfortunately the product came a little damaged.You can't tell from far away, but there is some kind of glue stain on the shoe. Other than that it came on time and fits fine.

I love these sandals. This particular model GIZEH is actually pretty comfortable, at least comfortable enough to walk around all day in an amusement park and still avoid sore feet. I would say that after trying these sandals, I have totally given up my other fashion sandals as these actually super comfortable and stylish

I can't rave enough about the Gizeh sandal! This is the second pair I own. I purchased these because I wanted a new color. My original pair has been through 5 years of frequent wear and still going strong (although the sides do show wear). They feel somewhat stiff at first for me but break in nicely and mold to my foot perfectly. They go with everything! I highly recommend these shoes!

What’s not to love about a birkenstock. Introduced my aunt to the world of comfort with this pair and she loved it.

Birkenstocks are the best, what more can I say? I've been wearing some version of these Gizeh around the house and out and about since the company first began making them and I am just as happy with them now as I've always been. Treat them right and a single pair will last you many years. There's great instructions available online for how to clean them properly and keep up the cork soles so I won't bother you all with those now, but let me just note that cork sealant and borax are your Birkenstocks best friends - aside from your own feet of course. Also, just make sure to buy them in the exact correct size - Birkenstocks fit tightly to your feet and should not have wiggle room on either end of your foot. I've known people to buy them oversized and get a lot of foot pain from them, and that certainly should not be the case. In fact they're the most comfortable things shoes I've ever worn, period. Treat your feet to a pair and they will thank you for years to come!
