These have been my go-to erasers for years. They cleanly remove pencil without smudging or tearing the paper, even on thinner sketchbook pages. You can tell the difference right away compared to cheaper erasers — they don’t leave that gray haze behind. They also last a long time and don’t get gummy or hard like some others do after sitting in a drawer. The paper sleeve keeps your hands clean and the edges sharp for detail work. If you draw, take notes, or just want a reliable eraser that actually works, this pack is a great value. Classic for a reason.

I have been using Staedtler eraser all my life and I cannot use anything else. Lately I haven't found them at my local art stores (why?), but Thankfully, I found them on amazon. What makes those erasers exceptional is that they do not lift any paper but erase very well. The erasers in this pack of three are much smaller than the usual size, 41mmx18mmx11mm but since there are 3, it is still a fair price.

I saw a student use these on her scantrons several years ago, and they erased SO well! So I got a set at the office supply store. Still haven't used those up, but I got this set for my daughter and granddaughter. When they were visiting, I gave an extra eraser to E, my granddaughter, and she and her mom were amazed at how well it erased. If you are or know a student who must use pencils and erasers, this eraser is a must! The students who use these to erase their answers on their scantrons get clear, clean erasures that never confuse the scantron grading machine, unlike the erasers on top of pencils, whether wood or mechanical. I use these erasers on my scantron keys, and when I correct mistakes in my paper grade book. (No Excel spreadsheets for me; not tech savvy.) Clear, clean erasures. As the eraser is used, the sharp corners do disappear, so teeny tiny erasures are challenging, but possible. I suggest to my (college) students the use of this eraser, but...19-year-olds always know more than old ladies, right?

I an a retired elementary and middle school math teacher for 35 years. It was at the least 30 years ago I ordered a couple of Staedtler Mars erasers. I still use a couple of those same original erasers today. I think they will last until I kick the bucket. Recently my wife misplaced her's. She implored me to buy her a replacement. They have shrank a little since I first bought my original erasers but they seem to be the same quality.

It's a very good eraser for sketching. It is a bit smaller than ones I had before but it does it's job well.

I use a lot of erasers to remove the marginalia I put in books. These little square white erasers are soft enough not to tear the paper unless go all beast mode on it. These erasers are smudge resistant even with the softest leads. They function well enough, but for those with arthritis or other painful joints may want to get an eraser holder. I don't due a lot of drawing ability, but when I do these erasers are a favorite. I believe these erasers are a good value for the money, and will order more when needed.

These are the best erasers I've ever used. They erase cleanly without tearing the paper. I'm still using mine that I got 30 years ago, and I got these for stocking stuffers for the grandchildren.
