deadass the best belt i own. i bought this thing years ago and it holds up the same way as the day i bought it. carried me through more than half of high school through becoming of legal drinking age. buying another color soon because i don’t think this one going anywhere soon. snaps closed perfectly with the same amount of strength and tactility after all these years. canvas is super durable. never gotta worry about putting new holes in it or growing out of it. i’ve lost abt 80 lbs within the ownership of this belt, no problem. no modifications needed. was 225 down to 145. and if i gained weight up to 300 i’d probably still fit in this bitch. i love this thing bro. give me all of the colors and start making 50 different patterns too.

The perfect belt. I like the length. Most of that type that I can find are to short. These are a little long but you can cut to size.

I love web belts for a few reasons: they come in various colors, they are infinitely adjustable to the perfect fit, and they're cheap. And these particular web belts fulfill all of those criteria! This one does have a little bit of an unusual buckle but I figured it out after fumbling with it momentarily. I'm used to these belts having a slide-to-lock mechanism so I was a bit confused at first. What you have to do is swing open the front of the buckle by pulling out on it from left to right. The belt material is maybe not quite as thick as my Levi's web belt but I'm talking by maybe a few millimeters. The buckle mechanism seems sturdy enough and snaps down securely. However, this mechanism seems like it won't be as durable as the sliding mechanism because it looks like the little bent out metal tabs that the buckle needs to snap into would be prone to bending either by bumping into something or after many open/close cycles. And it seems like any slight bend to the metal tabs would render it unable to snap closed. While I may have some long term concern for the durability of the buckle closing mechanism these belts are still well worth it. And if you're replacing an old web belt you could even use the buckle from your old belt.

It is okay and the price is very low, but I was expecting something more like the ratchet adjustable belts. That is what I had entered in the search where this came up and it looked like one. This one is adjustable, but the locks are more difficult to use. Right now, the closure is very stiff. I have a feeling that once it gets a bit more worn the closure is going to get too loose, though.

Once latched, it stays tight. Great belt. Bought another color after testing this one. My favorite belt.

Comfortable sturdy woven canvas belt with sold metal clasp at a good price

Love the material (durable and comfortable). The buckle type is easy to handle (it's a flip closure, I think it's called). It seems very durable, but I've had it for only a couple of months so far. Definitely recommend it. It comes with very generous extra length, so you'll probably want to edit it's length to your comfort as soon as you try it on. Not super obvious where to loosen the strap in order to cut, but look inside(open) the buckle flip-closure, and see where the strap is attached; there's another clamp there and it needs a bit of strength to open because it's quite short for a grip. Mark, snip, burn/melt the cut end (if you've never used fire with fabric, this is part synthetic so heating up the ends curls the fibres... just don't burn it to the point of catching fire), and then reclamp the end back as straight as you can manage.
