Easy to install.

Perfect fit. Unhook the whole assembly off the hanger. Pull the chrome pins at the top of a filter clean out the housing with a bottle brush and install the matching new one in that spot (go one at a time). Sorta have to wiggle and twist to get some of them in all the way.Water tastes great after flushing a lot through it. Maybe 10 gallons to flush through.

These filters are awful!!!! The lowest I could get the TDS level with these filters in was 104! That is NOT ok to drink. You might as well not be using the filters at all. I paid the higher price tag and got actual Culligan filters which immediately brought the TDS level down to 20! Culligan uses different materials for their filters, and these are not comparable. All over low quality. Don’t buy!

Do not usually write reviews but this product worked! Took my RO TDS from 537 to 33! I have a Culligan AC 30 RO. Culligan estimate to replace filters and membrane $625.00! This product was $39.00! Bought my own water TDS tester for $13.00 so I know results were accurate!

Searching around I found this to be the best do-it-yourself kit around. Someplace on this page I read about people preferring the carbon filter as both the pre and post RO filter as they filter out more impurities and sediments. So I bought and installed this kit. As stated on the RO membrane filter, it is packed with anti-freeze and anti-microbe solution so once installed you must flush it. After following the instructions all of a sudden our water output JUMPED up, water went from a trickle to a stream even with tank empty. Although breaking in the membrane filter was a little hassle, it was worth it. And with our water I like the idea of the more expensive carbon pre-filter. FYI I paid for this 1/2 of what my local guy was charging for just the RO membrane filter part. I've ordered a second set! (You might also find that no one seems to be selling/making the fiber-wound pre-filters in this size anymore, just the same screen-type as the carbon filter without the carbon. I sure liked my neat-looking old sediment filter that's still available for whole house systems but not in the size for these drinking fountain types.)

I ordered this product to replace my filters in my Culligan RO system. While they are performing as listed, they are poorly labeled as to which filter goes where. According to the description they are a direct replacement for Culligan. Culligan list their products 1, 2 and 3. These were not. But for the money, these filters can be replaced 3 times as compared to Culligan cost. Overall I'm happy.
