Cal 7 Blank Skateboard Deck with Grip Tape | 7.75, 8.0, 8.25 and 8.5 Inch | Maple Board for Skating

Deck looks beautiful and feels very nice. I am about 200lbs and it has had no problem holding my weight on tricks.Grip tape was very bubbly but a razor blade made quick work of those.All in all it is a great board and I definetly will be buying again.

Would not recommend these decks even if a beginner. Might be ok if buying for a child that is not serious about skateboarding. This deck is most similar to one you would buy from Walmart. I have purchased blank decks from other companies on Amazon and will stick to them. Very disappointed. The board feels like its waterlogged (not saying it is, it just feels like a soggy board). There is no pop, and it flexes too much. If you have ridden a walmart/supermarket skateboard you know the feeling im talking about vs a "pro" skateboard from a reputable brand.

Been an avid skater for 21 years and started relying on buying blank decks to save money. These cal 7 boards are amazing. The snap and pop you get from your Ollie is incredible. Grip tape came with it which was a huge bonus. I’ve ordered from some places where’s the grip tape comes slightly bent or folded. This sheet came straight as a ruler. Will be ordering more from this dealer as it came super fast, faster then expected. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.

This board is priced cheaply so I'd say it'd be okay for beginners, but not really intermediate skaters (which i would consider myself). I used this for 2 days before i got some rather large cracks in the wood. I do skate on my street which is very rough and has a lot of rocks and I'm spending a lot of time on tre flips, so I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt with 2 stars. I snapped my Girl deck after about 4 weeks, only about 1-2 weeks of heavy use, so I wanted to spend less money on another deck. However, I won't be purchasing this brand board again because it has shown significant signs of wear after only 2 days of skating, and only a few hours of skating within those 2 days.I would also not listen to a lot of these reviews because it does not seem like a lot of them actually use the board before reviewing it, they simply think it looks nice and appears reliable, but if you actually use the board you will immediately discover that is not the case. If you are serious about skateboarding I would not recommend. I used this deck for a few more days, ( I am editing this into my review ) and the board feels of lower quality compared to all other decks I have. I just got a new blank deck from Stoked Ride Shop which was about $30-$35 dollars without grip but the difference is night and day. I would just go with another blank brand or spend a little extra to get your money's worth.

This would be a great skate for deck for any practicing skateboarder. Nobody is going to make fun of your kid at the skate park for having this deck.PROS:– Very reasonably priced– the Red looks awesome- Received it two days faster than Amazon estimated– looks like all the other pro blanks I’ve ever boughtCONS:– Why couldn’t they just have installed the grip tape for you.-When I bought this it wasn’t available with fast shipping through prime- the grip tape is folded as it is packed and that causes it to pull away from the paper when it is unfolded. It is probably not a big deal if you intend to install it right away but otherwise it is gonna get dust/dirt on the sticky side. See photo how tape has pulled away from paper.Even though you have to install the grip tape on your own it’s manageable with only a box cutter for tools. After watching a single YouTube video you can do it.I would RECOMMENDED this and WOULD buy it again.

If you're 225+lbs don't bother buying this cheap, flimsy, poorly-made deck. Not even a month in and the deck cracks right between the lower trucks (closer to the bottom two bolts). Landed a kick flick and, snap! Aside from the quality of material, the concaves are low. The nose a tad taller than the tail, or visa-versa, with no pop at either end. The edges chip and dent fairly easily. Never really felt like a real skateboard deck. This is the last time I buy this brand or a blank.

I know a lot of people have a lot of reasons not to purchase a blank deck. I’m not saying anyone is wrong. All I know is of the 4 decks I own from other major board companies this one has the best shape, pop and control of any of them. For the price I will definitely be buying more of these.

For a cheap replacement deck, this is great. I had no problems getting the grip tape on-- feels high quality. I'm dinging it one star because I ordered red and it showed up pink. That being said, this was just to replace a broken deck on an old setup for my kids to ride while I ride my nice deck and it does the trick. I was able to do some tricks on it as well and it feels sturdy enough.
