Exedy for the win!
The original clutch in my Civic exploded, literally. After checking local parts stores and their ridiculous prices I turned to Amaxon Prime! This clutch kit is VERY well priced. Came with everything I needed to get the job done. Very high quality parts, as always with Exedy! It took me about three hours start to finish in my garage on jack stands. Very easy job on this car.Be sure to change the fluid in your trans at this time. Use only Honda MTF fluid, also available here on Prime.I wouldn't buy any other brand OE replacement clutch than Exedy. Very smooth engagement with an OEM pedal feel.

this is a great clutch that will never tire you out
I don't know why it says "Racing Clutch" as this is an OEM Replacement clutch for daily drivers. Compared to the stock clutch, there are two differences I can note...The first is that it grabs slightly harder. It's possible that the area used for the friction surface has been increased from the OEM unit. I'm not sure, I didn't measure. For whatever reason, it does have a bit more grab to it.The second is that it actually has significantly lighter action - the clutch pedal is actually easier to press. I was surprised by this, but, as a clutch for a DD, I'm certainly not complaining. As long as you aren't trying to build a race car, this is a great clutch that will never tire you out.

great product/budget conscious
For the money, its very much worth it... this is the first time i change my clutch on my 2002 Civic HX.. was a bit expensive, the shop charged me 350 for labor plus the costs of this product puts me around the 450 total cost... I didn't want to do it myself as there are many stuff to take off the car to be able to get to the clutch... and you will need special tools, that you may not have... anyhow, so yah its a great product... i have been driving it for about 5 days now.. and it feels good...my car drives nicer than before.... well, i had like 165k miles on my car, so it was time for a new clutch.. just ouch on the expenditure... hurts to spend money, but oh well.. I had to do it, previous clutch was starting to fade out.. so yah... great product/budget conscious..

Good product, has very soft feel however
Clutch kit came with everything needed at a very good price and arrived in one day.after having the clutch installed it works and operates as it should with no noises or slips. I do see it worth mentioning that the clutch feel is incredibly soft. It will take a bit to get used to but it does work well despite the light feel to the clutch

Great quality value product. Close to OEM product.
Everything you need in this kit. Great product! Recommend this product. If you were to get at an auto part store prepared to pay $250. Save money and get a great quality part.

Can't beat the price, buy used on Amazon Warehouse deals!
I bought a "Like New" clutch on one of Amazon's Warehouse deals for $45. You just can't beat that deal! Only difference is, the box is open but the product itself was new. A local parts store had a clutch at $90, but it wasn't Exedy.I drive a 2003 5Spd Civic and the input shaft bearing was going bad. The car made a noise everytime the clutch wasn't pressed and after doing some research on the internet, it seemed to be a common problem. Since my transmission was going to be serviced, I figured I'd replace the clutch at an extra $40 since I feel like abused the stock OEM one.The pedal feel on the Exedy compared to the stock clutch was real light and I'm still getting used to it (only drove it for 4 days now). The friction zone is a lot sooner how ever and it only barely takes any gas for the car to start rolling. The clutch noise when I pushed the pedal down on the OEM is also gone now too since that was with the old clutch.5-Star because you simply can't beat that price! I love this clutch!Oh and it's Made in Japan if place of manufacture matters to you.EXEDY ALL THE WAY!
