These seem to be common for Airbnb but I've found some that it's tricky to get the keys into so pleased that this is nice and large inside whilst not being too big outside - it's not something you want to draw attention to. I've got it because we're having some building work done and there will be different people needing to come and go so we can have somewhere safe to leave keys from time to time. It's easy to set up a code and then open the box; the dials are smooth and precise. The unit seems pretty strong - it has a good weight as if it's constructed from decent metals. It comes with fixing screws that are then hidden inside. You might want to use something stronger for where you're fixing it, but then that's always true for supplied fixings.I've been happy leaving the keys in this and had no issues with people new to this getting them in and out so would be ideal for airbnb. I might be tempted to use it when my kids are coming home from school by themselves and more likely to lose a key than forget a simple number.

Well there isn't a great deal one can say about this product. They are extremely easy to install and set up. Once you have set your desired code and locked it in, all you need is a set of keys to place in it.These are very secure so you can rest assured and feel safe about putting a spare set in these units.I have just fitted this unit for a friend who has taken seriously ill, and instead of having to buy many sets of keys for all the different people, she just needs to buy one set.They can be fitted in under 10 minutes...Only thing I would change, when installing, I would use longer screws rather than the ones provided. Don't get me wrong, the ones that come with the unit are adequate, but sometimes, after repeated use, they can work loose.. Other than that, I highly recommend these Key Safes...

Not for my use but bought for an old vulnerable relative. Glad to say it was easy to install and has proved to be ideally suited for her needs. Quite sturdy and it has been connected to an alarm system so is doubly secure.

Is as described, easy to install and use with clear instructions, time will tell on its sturdiness but good solid metal body and door. The 4 number wheels for the code are also metal, So far worked well, happy with purchase. Seems water resistant. Keep a spare key in mine enough space for a small bunch of keys. I would imagine if you took the time and effort to break it to retrieve contents (good few hits with a hammer) it would fall apart but be noisy hence 4 star on security. Purposely fitted it out of view because of this as I suspect it's not as robust as the police approved products but then it's a tenth of the price and it doesn't make the same claims, you get what you pay for I think in these items. Definitely more secure than leaving a key under the plant pot!! Happy with product.

Actually better than OK, it's good. Well made with what appears to be good materials and tight finishes.Strong box, fixings supplied, easy to reset code and a good price, arrived quickly - all good.Recommended

Easy fit

Bought for the monstering law on my wife’s request . Easily fitted to the wall , you just need a couple to 2 inch screws, 2 raw plugs and a screw driver and is very handy for the rest of the family to use to gain access into the house in case of an emergency. Very easy to set up using your own 4 digit number.

Out of the box, this is incredibly sturdy with a good weight indicating solidity which is what you want from any type of safe.To open it initially, push gently on the black inset and slide it down. Ensure the combination is set to the default of 0000, flip down the black switch on the left. The grey face will now drop down, ready for you to fit the safe as required.To change the combination, look inside the door where you will see a RESET button in position A. Change the RESET button to position B, adjust the combination to your choice, flip the RESET button back to position A and it's done.Mounting the box is a simple matter of marking the screw positions through the back of the box on the required location on the wall, drilling the walls and fixing the screws (rawl plugs and screws are included inside the safe).Easy peasy and nice and safe!
